When the announcement of the 'Bomber Project' was made by the club I was willing to give the club the benifit of the doubt. I also said I would step back until the summer to give the club and bomber the chance to iron out whatever they needed and wait for another update from the club.
I am now of the opinion that the club made this announcment on the back of the efforts from people on here to pretty much hold us at bay. I also feel that they have had long enough to get this at least to the point where plans are publicly available.
We have had nothing.
So I feel we need to get two things from the club:
- A commitment of a date when this will be completed by
- Full details of what kind of tribute they have planned
Once we have got those I think it will be a case of keeping the pressure on to make sure it's done.
I think we should hit the ground running on the first home game. I still have my shirt so I am ready to go.
I think this needs to be done outside the ground with as many people as possible. At least the four corners of the ground. Also, if we had the man power also hit the pubs at the same time.
It needs to be quick and sharp to get as many signatures as possible.
So come on guys have we got any new people who want to help?
Spot on. We need to make an immediate impact to make the club aware we are still very much committed to this.
I say outside the ground from the off for 6 games with 2 people outside the main entrance and one on each corner of the ground.Collect as many signatures as possible in this time and present to the club.
No doubt Greenock is on board too.
So come on folks a few more volunteers
