Leave the team as it finished on Saturday. It looked balanced and up for the fight. Gallagher is a very busy player, lots of energy, not overmuch in the way of brains, but his efforts shouldn't be played down. However he should not be an automatic choice just because he is on loan from Chelsea.

All about perceptions - The team that hammered the very expensive lot from Lahndan has NEVER been a nobody club. Others especially the sporting influencers (new roles?) have always underrated the importance of WBA, but the rest of us know even in our times of deepest depression we are not a nobody club. That description my friend applies to vile and dingle outfits, and particularly applies to the plastic Albion from the south coast, and the nouveaux rich debt ridden mobs from other areas.  ;D

Best offensive performances with him on the bench. Coincidence?

For me it was always him OR AMN. Not both. Okay is the scrapper. We didnt need 2 others there with him.

I don't think it's Gallagher's fault but more to do with how it changes the dynamic. As Gazberg said and to add on, it's 2 of 3 of him, AMN & Okay. As it stands you can't drop the latter 2.

He isn't as good a technician as the 3 in the team now. More of an engine. Also likes a foul and a dive, no issue with him being out of the side.

I really like him but he isn't the right fit for the last few matches, by all means keep him on the bench.

Nixon tweeted CG wants to stay at Chelsea next season and fight for place in squad. Leeds, Palace and Newcastle wanted him next term.

He will never play a game for Chelsea’s first team - he isn’t good enough.

I agree, can see him loaned out again.

This seems like the thing that young players feel they need to say to show ambition. He does have a long contract at Chelsea which would seem to indicate they do rate him but the truth of the matter is that Billy Gilmour who is two years his junior is probably ahead of him in the pecking order. I can't see both of them getting into the first team (neither is the most likely outcome) so whatever the player says someone at Chelsea will sit down with him this summer and explain how things are and by the end of August he will be playing elsewhere on loan or permanently.

He’s not good enough for Chelsea quite simply. I’m sure Tuchel will see enough during pre season and he’ll be loaned out 100% if not sold if the offer is right
Ohhhhh Albion we love you!

With a bit of time and patience I’m sure he’ll be ready to compete for a regular place... in their U23 team.

Hopefully we can keep him for next season. He'll be a good player in the Championship.

No chance at Chelsea.

He’s got a good engine. However, his revs are are set too high. And maybe get rid of the hair band. Actually, get rid of the hair.

Plenty of industry but severely lacking in quality and composure.

Can’t work out whether his early season form was his ability or because he was next to the hapless Livermore and Sawyers which masked his frailties.

Exactly this. It only bounces half as far away from him as Livermore's first touch  ;D

He gets compared to Andy Johnson who was a better player.

Second one I think, mate, looked good compared to those around him because he actually had some legs.

I'm not sure he was. Very similar types of player.

I was delighted when he first got into the team because we had someone in the midfield who could run and tackle and in the same game as well. Not been here for a while.
