After watching them beat Spurs this afternoon these pages will be in meltdown next Saturday! Livermore and Sawyers beware! It's not only those 2 none of our squad are premier league players when i saw them come onto the pitch today i said to my Mrs this is a championship team.

Yep, I have more concerns about playing Everton than Leicester and after watching them earlier, only reenforced those concerns.

It’s early days and I’m not saying they will, but it wouldn’t be surprise to see Everton finish above their near neighbours.
My posts are my personal views and any links or external inclusions are not necessarily an endorsement by me.
I'm an ordinary bloke with no hidden agenda, here just to enjoy all things Albion etc.

It's all about opinions, so don't shoot the messenger if he/she has a different view to you!

Difference is Everton haven't got a Vardy, their strikers aren't great. We should do slightly better next week.

As for the 2nd part, unless you mean Tranmere, anyone who finishes above Liverpool will win the league. It certainly won't be Everton.

2000/1?

Ridiculous. If we were 10,000/1 I'd say that is about right. Anything else is no value at all.

Generally we are more comfortably away from home BUT Calvin-Lewis and Richardson don't need to be great to score past us, just bang average should do it. Question is, can we get hold of the ball, get players in support of Robinson, and test Pickford? We didn't lay a glove on Leicester. The same set-up won't be able to lay a glove on Everton either. The weird 5-2-2-1 formation needs to go in the bin.

Never mind Calvin-Lewis and Richarlason did you see Rodriguez yesterday? He will destroy us if we let him play, someone will need to stop him.

I'm really worried for this one now. We need a couple of new players ASAP, including a striker.

Yes, he was impressive, intelligent, sharp, good range of passing. More of a creator than goal scorer. Allan also looked rock solid, which didn't surprise me as he was excellent at Napoli. Just the sort of Yacob style destroyer who keeps the ball ticking over that we lack.

Our best chance at Everton is their defence and keeper are dodgy. Michale Keane is rubbish, the rest of them are prone to switching off defensively. So if we can get it together we might be able to hurt them. I don't see any chance of a clean sheet for us though.

Their midfield 3 of Allan, Doucoure and Andre Gomes will destroy us especially if its just Sawyers and Livermore in he middle again

I think the answer is to take a defender out, play with a back four and throw Krov / Gallagher into the middle as well, presuming we can get one of them into the team by the weekend.

Agreed. We need to play with 3 in the middle. If Krovinovic or Gallagher sign then they need to join Livermore and Sawyers not replace one of them.

Wouldn't want to be holding the door open for all of this lot, I'd be there all day  ;D .

Once upon a time there was a manager, assistant, physio and one sub on a bench. Now there are 7,000 people (pre covid) waltzing around the touch line and the pitch prior to kick off. God knows what they are all there for.

It's getting the same with officials.

Button has to be a starter. He commanded his box, the defence could trust him. He could catch and distribute. SJ has to be second choice after tonight.
