Big pressure for us tomorrow.  Brentford are now 2 up so thats another win for them !!   We could be 3rd come Sundays match.  The Sheffield Wednesday match has suddenly become massive.

I’ve seen reports saying some of the Wednesday squad didn’t get paid today so if true might be some resentment in their team, still don’t think we win this one pressure is massively on can see a 1-1 I hope I’m wrong and we get a response.

Probably true, but part of the Monk mind games, just hope we don't fall for it.

It is simple. It is down to us to win. All we have to do is attempt and win our games. Forget relying on others.

Biggest league game in years. Win and we could see the confidence flood back; lose, and I can only see capitulation, questions of Bilic and the squad. Nervous...

Feel horrible today. Trying to ignore it but struggling to imagine us winning, even with our very deep squad.

Might have a big bet on Sheff Wed to try to level out the inevitable feelings of deflation.

I hold absolutely no hope out for this tonight. Best I can see is a draw unless we drastically improve performance levels.

Not sure what the answer is up front but it isn't HRK. Phillips should not be starting. Maybe bring in Grosicki and switch Grady to the right flank cutting in on his left foot. Krov needs to come into the team in some capacity. We need creativity in the final third and cannot keep relying on Pereira alone.

We have to win this game.

1st half of the season 50 points from 23 games.
2nd half of the season 21 points from 16 games.
2nd half of the season performance over a season would see us midtable

Sorry for being dramatic but this to me is our biggest game of the season.

That makes worrying reading coupled with our performances on the whole in the last 2 games  being like a mid table side with nothing to play for.

I agree with all the posters that say it is a must win game, I think Hull on Sunday is too.

Have to get six points from the next two, no doubt about it.

And I’d take it if they were scrappy 1-0 wins.

I’m with most posters and cannot see how Phillips can start.

We need an injection of enthusiasm from somewhere and that man is Grosicki.

Why he hasn’t been involved since we’ve come back is anyone’s guess.

Back four to stay the same, Sawyers and Livermore’s last chance with Grosicki somewhere in that attacking midfield.

Agree massive for us. I think Brentford have the momentum unless things turn (and they often do) I can see them as Champions. Fulham haven't had the best time since the restart (although won last night). Leeds LWD - if we win tonight we match Leeds on form. I think it will be between us and Leeds for the other automatic place.

If it is true I would start worrying about his career. That's the injury that he originally suffered months ago and re-occurred in (December?). If he's taken that long to recover for a second time with the same injury and its gone again is it weakness from which he will never completely recover?

not necessarily, if we line up 4-3-3 we could have a front 3 of Periera, striker, Robinson which is what we used during our decent run in Feb.

Hope you are right Hull. Personally, I would go Pereira - Austin - Grosicki

Real shame about Grady, this really was his breakthrough season and it looks like it's going to be ruined by injury.

I think I'll be keeping myself occupied with the rowing machine and weights for much of the afternoon. I'm going to leave selection headaches to those responsible for making the decisions and put my faith in the players to deliver. Absolutely no way I'm going to tie myself up into a bundle of nerves over the football. This is nothing new. I look at every game as an opportunity to win as we move forward. If you're scared of dropping it's best not to look down. Get into 'em Albion. COYB.

Bit confused, ticker at the bottom it said he was out, then the next time it came back round didn’t mention it at all

Hoping it was a SSN error!

Exactly, its in our hands.  Full backs push forward, we must score tonight - a draws not much good the way Brentford are steamrollering ahead, and we are guaranteed a play off place so every game's a cup final.

With them playing 3-5-2 I would rather we played O'Shea as a more defensive full back so that we don't get hit hard on the counter and leave Gibbs as the more forward thinking full back.

Nothing on the Sky Sports Football news either.  Hope its an error and refers to the previous hamstring problem Grady experienced last time.
