The Doomsday clock.
« on: July 23, 2019, 09:32:57 AM »
I wonder how many minutes to midnight it is now?
Iran building their own nuclear weapons, seizing a British ship, arresting 17 American "spies" and sentencing some to death.
America building up their armed forces in the Gulf.
Russia and China invading S Korean airspace and S Korea responding by firing warning shots.
Turkey buying Russian defence  missisle system in contradiction to the terms of the Nato allies.

Just coincidence or is WW3 imminent?

Currently it’s still at Iron Maiden. Most of this is posturing, Iranians aren’t exactly ecstatic at what their country is up to, countries beach airspace all the time and no one wants to risk war outside of a proxy.

We have been around long enough to know this goes on all the time, but the world used to have moderate leaders who would never risk their countries and it's peoples lives, and this has kept the peace for 70 years.
But now we have lunatics like Trump, Kim and the Ayatollah and life to them is next to worthless.
Trump in my mind is just itching to nuke a country.

We’ve been at war with someone consistently for the last 30 years... moderate leaders have involved Britain in wars in the Middle east, Africa and Eastern Europe. They were just very good at hiding the fact and making people think it was peaceful. Why do you think the UK is such a target for extremists from the levant and Persia?

You want a warmonger President? Check out Obama’s record.

"They" (whoever "they" are) blame global warming for all the cold weather too.
At least most of us haven't been addled enough to support the vile lot. Unlike Cameron and prince William.
