I raised my concerns with him numerous times last season and people disagreed with me and seemed to rate him.

Most people now seem to agree he's just not very good. Didn't think he was good enough for the championship last year and seen nothing to change my mind.

Some other players who looked good last season have struggled this year with the step up. He looked poor last season, and unsurprisingly hasn't looked good this season either.

For me he's probably in our top 10 worst players who've played regular games in the premier league - in the Luke Moore/Shelton Martis/Scott Carson bracket of terrible.

A much more composed performance against tricky customers. Excellent piece of defending to prevent an Alonso goal in the first half. Defending which six months ago was not in his locker.

I think he has to be first choice based on the alternative (Peltier). However even his best performances like yesterday are error strewn. It was a very good assist for the 3rd goal.

the only viable alternative at RB is O'shea,

O'Shea at FB weakens central defence which is better with O'Shea than without. Furlong at FB, is a marginally better attacking option. It's all about opinions though.

It was a good block, luckily Alonso's team mates failed to pick him out when Furlong left him in acres of space on several occasions in the first half though. Mixed performance overall with a good and clearly intended assist for Callum Robinson. Cracking team goal.

Townsend is excellent, Furlong is a liability, but is also the best right back we have at the moment - did his best to concede another penalty at the weekend.

Was a cracking spot for Robinson's first, especially as Robinson said himself that he didn't shout too loud as he didn't want to alert the defender!

Ok for Champ but, now we are staying up we probably need to upgrade.

Much improved in recent weeks. Made some really crucial tackles today, but dangerous when getting forward and almost scored.

Knew there was a good wing back in there somewhere. Always a reasonable going forward but very good defensively last night, keep it going Darnell.
