That's the difference a 3pm Saturday match makes. I'd expect reduced gates for Leeds and Brentford too, Villa should be okay as it's a derby.

20,774 sold so far. That means more than 300 sold since the last update. Quite a contrast to the trickling sales for the Derby game. There are 2626 tickets remaining in the home areas.

I can't find any sales info from Blackburn but I wouldn't expect them to sell out. I'd guess they'd sell aomewhere around 1,500 but that is a pure guess.

No reason for us not to sell this out

Rampant at home, scoring goals and winning football matches.

Very poor if we don't.

Can't see that happening. We'd have to sell 23,400 in home areas to sell out. With four days to go that's almost certainly not going to happen. We're on course to sell between 21,500 and 22,000.

And the pressure builds for this game.

Moore needs to make a raft of changes and I think most notably the system. 433 or 4231 for this game.

O Albion we love you

Back to basics for me. Back to four at the back but here's the crucial thing - 3 in centre mid, one up top and two out wide. Availability permitting:

                                                 Johnstone

Dawson                 Hegazi                                  Bartley                   Gibbs

                            Livermore      Morrison / Barry           Field

           Phillips                           Rodriguez                                     Barnes

Subs: Myhill, Adarabioyo, Townsend, Gayle, Sako, Edwards, Morrison / Barry.

Let Barnes and Phillips swap sides whenever they like and let our defenders do what they were brought up to do - defend.

Approx. 20,970 sold to date in home areas. There are 2,427 remaining.

Usually with Thursday, Friday and Saturday sales to come I'd be predicting us comfortably breaking the 22,000 barrier but after last night's display god knows how that's going to affect sales.

I'd like to see something like this:

                                                              Johnstone

                             Mears             Dawson                  Bartley        Gibbs

                                                              Barry

                              Sako          Livermore              Morrison     Barnes

                                                         Gayle (if fit)/Rodriguez

Subs Myhill, Adabarioyo, Brunt, Hoolahan, Edwards, Phillips, Rodriguez/HRK

what I expect is:

                                                              Johnstone

                                Dawson                        Hegazi/Adabarioyo               Bartley

                  Phillips                                                                                        Gibbs/Mears

                                                 Livermore                   Barry/Field/Brunt

                                                                     Barnes

                                                         Gayle/HRK      Rodriguez

Subs: Myhill, Adabarioyo/HRK, Brunt/Field, Mears/Howkins, Morrison, Hoolahan, Sako

Tricky one as not sure if the coaching staff will persist with thie 3 at the back, or will they hold their hands up and know that its not going to work every game?

I think the team will line up like one of these:

Johnstone

Mears/Dawson
Dawson/Hegazi (if fit)
Bartley
Gibbs/Townsend

Phillips
Barry
Livermore
Barnes

Rodriguez
Gayle (if fit)

I would like to see us line up with a 4-3-3

something like:

Johnstone

Dawson
Hegazi
Bartley
Gibbs/Townsend

Livermore
Barry
Field/Hoolahan/Morrison

Phillips
Rodriguez/Gayle
Barnes

We all know we can score but cannot defend starting with our distribution from our goalkeeper usually to our worst player Bartley. If keeping that way of playing
Team : Myhill
Adaborioyo Dawson Hegazi Brunt
Morrison Barry Livermore
Phillips Rodrigues Barnes

Presuming Gayle Gibbs unfit

Personally I would be playing Hoolahan in midfield, he is fit, has the experience and in the few times he has played he has done nothing wrong.

Am I missing something or is Barry not fit?
What have we done?
And what have we become
In this distance from our Mother
From the gates of late Eden?

There is absolutely no chance that Johnstone will be dropped, nor should he be in my opinion.

Could someone kindly explain to me what grievous sin Johnstone has clearly committed for people to be calling for Myhill, who is completely immobile, to be played?

If it is his distribution from the back then that is just a nonsense; he has been told to do that by the manager, look elsewhere for the blame on that one. His shot stopping has been brilliant, the save from their right back in the first half last night was superb. Myhill should not be at the club, let alone starting games.
