Billy Bassett, for what he did for the club as a player(and he was among the best of his day)as a director and as a chairman. It can be argued that if wasn't for Billy there would be no Albion today. If we were to build a statue it should be of him.
Jesse Pennington, one of the greatest names in our history and again a top player of his day like Billy, for both club and country.
W G Richardson,my grandad told me great tales about WG and the records justify them, check them out,an outstanding striker.
Ray Barlow, considered by many to be Albions greatest ever, and not all of them Albion fans,he was Bobby Moore's schoolboy hero.Still attends our games.
Ronnie Allen, the complete footballer according to Sir Stanley Matthews, and a Baggie through and through.
Tony Brown, lucky enough to see him play,as well as a great finisher a fine midfielder who gave twenty years of devotion to the club and hardy ever got booked.I think he was booked once or twice.Broke about every record there was.
Those are my top six.
