A TP vanity signing that he had no clue how to utilise but Chadli showed he had no guts or character, a complete waste of a signing and £10m gone. He cost us £5m a year!!!

I can't believe he actually played 36 games for us - he's already a distant (bad) memory.

Great news , now we can get a player that might (want to) play for us in his place.

I have placed him in the Failed Big Name Signings File alongside Anelka et al. These signings just do not work for the Albion.  Players who feel they are taking a step down to play for us.  No pride in pulling on the shirt.  Compare that to my heroes of Sneekes, Gera, Koren, Mulumbu, and Balis to name a few.  For these players Albion was a move upwards and it showed in their performances and attitude.

I would even put Evans in this category.  One of the best defenders I have ever seen in an Albion shirt for a season or so until agents got in his ear and told him he should actually be playing for Man City or Arsenal.  Decided he was better than the club and it all went South.

Very disappointing that we didn't manage to get the best out of him. He's certainly the most talented player we've had since Gera or Koumas. I can understand him not being up for the Championship when he has the chance to play for a Champions League club. I'd do the same if I had his talent. £10 million is an absolute steal in today's money. Will follow his career with interest in the Champions League.

Couldn't give a flying fig about him to be honest.
He's milked us for two years, for more money than you or I will probably see in our lifetimes.
He could spend the rest of his career on the treatment table for me. he's no longer our problem
I personally would just like to forget about him.

I imagine that you probably are not that bothered about any player once they've departed from WBA, which is fair enough. I have a slightly broader interest in football, especially like to dip into what's happening in European leagues etc. So, I will take more than average interest in what Chadli does or fails to achieve at Monaco.
As far as milking us for 2 years, I cannot believe that he would have sacrificed 2 years of his career willingly. He may not have fancied the Championship, but he certainly will have wanted to achieve in the Prem. league.

Sacrifice mate,what sacrifice?
He still got paid for just getting back to fitness to play in the world cup?
He might not have planned it but that's fact.
What did we pay him£40k per week or more, not bad for producing absolutely nothing for us.
Also, not one word from his mouth about our club,he should be damn grateful.
Please close this down, sick of the man.

Spot on. He smashed it first game against West Ham to show two fingers to Spuds, then he sat back and watched his bank balance swell.  Likewise Evans, just took a bit longer for him to decide he was above us.

This remains the strangest and possibly the most ill conceived transfer in my life time as an Albion fan and there has been few contenders for that honour.

It was a transfer that should never have happened. He was never going to work in a Pulis team he simply was never going to get enough of the ball to be effective and his rather languid skill set was going to be sooner or latter marginalised.

The clues were there even in his debut 2 goals and 2 assists from 39 touches of the ball, it was a freak it wasn't repeated it was never going to be.

I will never know why he agreed to join us it was no secret how we played and he had to have other offers. Our decision not to sell him on to Swansea last summer looks terrible now.

I doubt very much that Monaco would have bought an injured player from us and anyway Moore had said he was uninjured and getting his fitness levels up.
