Zoltan the Great, if only just for the somersaults, and he managed to show us quite a few of them.
Return our Parthenon Marbles, we're going nuts without them!

IGOR BALIS ...... to have the bottle to take that Penalty at Bradford in 2002 when it meant so much to everybody at the club ..... Oh and I am led to believe that we didn't even know until that point that he was the current penalty taker for the National Team.

Absolute Bottle Testing at the limit (And I bet he didn't really feel it)

To have that length of delay while Bob Taylor was down ... great moment in time.

Apart from that, not a lot really if I'm honest regarding Igor !!!!

Gera was brilliant, a true Albion legend but I'm going to have to go for Sneekes I think. The immediate impact he made at a crucial time was so important to us then, he became an instant cult hero and one of my favourite players of all time. He is now managing Rushall Olympic in the Northern Premier League minus the hair!

Tough one this is.

Gera is one of my all time favourite players and Odemwingie was just class

But Richard Sneekes gets my vote, he was brilliant at a time we didnt have much to cheer about and he was pure class.

Special mention to Maresca who ended up a brilliant player.

Another one from the back of my mind as well was Mario Bortolazzi....Suuuuper Mario Super Mario
Dexy : Dudleylad : kris_boing : LiamTheBaggie : MarkW : OldburyWBA
Hull Baggie : Political Cake : tommcneill

its not just the winning thats important...its rubbing the losers face in it after that counts

Ah Super Mario. Didn't he score a goal from virtually the halfway line against Port Vale maybe?

Mario Bortolazzi was ***** for us if I remember rightly. Tail end of his career, about 36 years old.

Gotta be between Gera & Sneekes for me, but I must admit the 4 million we got for Maresca transformed the club from poor Championship fodder to Premier league players.

Igor balis the penalty that made now a reality. Sneaks kept us up that one year! Odemwingie for his goals at this level. Gera for his goals his celebrations his commitment!

Any would be worthy winners. Going to say Gera because it was done at the top level and the sheer longevity of his career. Odemwingie would have been in with a shout but he went from hero to zero and ruined his legacy
O Albion we love you
