Nearly as cringeworthy as taking inflatables to games.

I remember when they did this a few seasons back. Bloody cringeworthy.
Much rather just jump around like a loony and enjoy myself without the distraction.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Definitely not - always comes across as very League 2.

You should be able to create an atmosphere after you've scored without playing cheesy music

Hate it with a passion. It kills any genuine celebrations. I would complain heavily if anyone tried to introduce it at the Hawthorns.

I honestly didn't realise we had sunk to these depths, I don't remember it and certainly wouldn't want it to return.

It was around about the '97-'98 season.

It was around about the '97-'98 season.

97-98 was definitely when the whole goal music fad took off.  Port Vale were the first to bring it to this country.  The fact some clubs are still doing it eighteen years on is an embarrassment to them, and one I wouldn't want us to imitate.
Steve Bull is a merchant who specialises in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. He wears the headgear one would associate with this trade. He spent years in the first team of a Staffordshire-based club. And he is not a very nice man.

Abhorrent.

Anyone who's been to palace and heard their whole goal has been scored rigmarole knows that it is the antithesis of celebration.

I don't need to be told how to celebrate West Bromwich Albion scoring - it is part of me.

Definite no, it's horrible.

Another one I hate is the grounds where the tannoy bloke says the first name of the goalscorer and the crowd shout the surname like he's some kind of low budget DJ at a wedding. Gross.
