I'm smashing the head to head league but only 9th in the normal league! I'm clearly a cup manager rather than a league one  ;)

I have done it, I've actually set up two.

The classic, normal league - 493182-148818

& the Head to Head (It might be fun to go up against the regulars on here? - 493182-148824

The Head 2 Head League is limited to 20 players to mimic the Prem.

I am down as "Fore For Too".

Let the Best Baggie win!  :P :-* :D :o ;)

Can you reactivate these leagues, please?

Isn't there enough fantasy on the transfer rumour/speculation/hopes/dreams/notgonnahappens thread  ;D  ;) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Knave of Albion is admin of last years league, so he could reactivate them.  If he doesn't you can set one up

I'm going to set up a league for people on here to join. Also this year they're doing a different type of league called  'draft' which is for between 2 and 16 teams if anyone is interested?

You essentially pick your team as usual with 2 keepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 strikers, but each player can only be in one team (e.g. Chris Brunt can only be used by one of the 16 teams). There is no budget by the looks of it, but everyone takes turns to pick a player until all teams are full. It looks as though new teams are picked each round, with a different order of selection: https://www.premierleague.com/news/427772.

Anyway, the normal league code is: 182014-159722

There is also the head-to-head league which lets teams play against each other each game week:

In a league with head-to-head scoring, every team plays a match against another team in the league each Gameweek. The match result is based on the Gameweek score of each team minus any transfer points spent preparing for the Gameweek.

Head-to-Head fixtures are generated at the start of the league's first Gameweek. Once these fixtures have been generated the league is locked and teams will not be able to join or leave.

The code for this is: 182014-159744

Feel free to join both. Let me know if you want to do the 'draft' league, although this may be a bit difficult to manage over a forum as it requires everyone to be online to pick their draft at the same time each week.

Head-to-Head league code: 182014-159744

Feel free to join, the more the merrier. It's free to enter and you can make unlimited changes until the first game of the season.

Draft + Head to Head works really well as a system for NFL so will happily join this one if it happens.

The way it normally works is there is just one draft, which happens a week or two before the season starts.

Once this draft has been completed, during the rest of the season, anyone is then free to drop people in their team to bring in undrafted players, or trade players from other teams.

Usually get some really interesting dynamics, a bit like with deal making in monopoly

Yep definitely. Just a case of getting at least 8 teams involved really to make it work

Draft league has just been created

Code to join this league: 246274-62773.

If we get enough teams, the draft is currently scheduled for this Saturday at 3pm.

Can easily change the time and date though would be open to suggestions.

Usually if a team cannot make the draft they get stuck on 'auto draft' which means the computer tries to select the best possible team for them

Might be worth adding before people get worried about getting random players, that you can still pick your preferred players for each position, and then the computer chooses for you using these if no one else has picked them, so you can still have some input.
