Best kit & worst kits of all times

Worst

My personal favourite. I just love how different it is. Just a shame we got beat the only two times we wore it.
Not quite right, we lost heavily at Swansea but did grab a draw at Bolton wearing it.

The worst has to be the one we had in our first PL season. Why oh why did we think 'yes, we are a PL side now, lets make our own kits' they were absolutely terrible. One of the last ever replica shirts I bought, put me off for life.

My favourite had to be the one with dark sleeves when we beat Crystal Palace to go up. Loved that shirt.
Here here along with the blue and white barcode.

I didn't like the yellow and red barcode though.

I think all of the home, striped shirts look good. I'm biased, but we do have one of the smartest kits around. Personally, I prefer more white on the shirt and more stripes but the colours are so much better than some - orange/black, purple/blue to name just two.
With away strips, I'm also in the geen & yellow camp  (preferably without orange socks). I really liked the emerald green with narrow yellow stripes that sadly lasted only a season. The worst has to be an 80s away shirt - yellow with navy pin-stripes. I bought one 'because it had been reduced to a quid in a shop and still no one had bought it! And I still find it uncomfortable to see us wearing all red after that Lg Cup Final in'66. Still, time heals.

The Sandwell strip was far worse in my opinion than the one we have this year.

1977 my favourite.... although I don't think it's right to without the Throstle....

The Sandwell green and yellow away kit always holds a special place in my heart - at the time I always called it my 'pulling shirt' - but then we are talking about London in the 80's!

I actually think the top I wore more than any other was the yellow and blue 1999 away kit with West Bromwich Building Society on the front. For home kits I have always preferred ones with thicker stripes and those that have blue in their sleeves - maybe 1997 with the round collar??

Worst

Still have this right at the back of my wardrobe, doesn't fit me now obviously as I was only a teen at the time.

Reason I haven't got rid? I wore it to Wembley 1993 - that shirt however hideous it maybe will never leave me purely because of that day ;D

For all the fuss about the current home shirt im surprised that the barcode shirts arent on every list as the worst shirt yet. The current home shirt is a million times better than those.

For me, my favourite home shirt was the promotion season patrick kit, and the turquoise and the red and blue addidas away kits draw as the best away shirt.

It was cyan i believe , i liked that shirt too but we hardly wore it which if you paid full price just isn't fair .
Our first black top with silver trim remains my favourite away shirt of recent years.

I've always been partial to our recent sponserless shirts:

2008-2009

This is still the one i wear now. Love that it has no sponsors on it. Timeless  ;D
