Was Morrison injured or what?

Only returned to full training yesterday, had a minor op once the last season ended.

That wasn't a bad team we put out for this game, when you think we have

Lescott
Morrison
McAuley
Ideye
Brunt
Gardner
Sess
Gamboa (VVV  ;) )

all to come in, it is starting to look like a decent experienced squad & obviously we hope some of the younger lads get the opportunity to break into the first team as well.

Good, comfortable win in the end. Big improvement on Tuesday, all the players looked a lot fitter. Good to see so many of the players playing well too, Mulumbu, Anichebe, Dorrans & Berahino all impressive to pick out a few.

Liked what I saw from Wisdom. Very composed & sensible on the ball and plays with his head up. Good performance from Pocognoli too, not just getting forward but using the ball well once he was up there too.

Special mention for Baird too. Easy to think with Wisdom and hopefully Gamboa coming in that he's a bit of a spare part but he played in central midfield today, his third different position in pre season, and looked very comfortable. I think he is going to be a decent addition to give us cover in so many positions.

Agree with this. We were much better than Sacramento of course, but I liked a lot of what I saw.
