West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Grady Diangana
« on: August 08, 2019, 12:45:50 PM »

West Bromwich Albion are close to completing a loan deal for West Ham winger Grady Diangana.

We understand a deal should be completed shortly.

Meanwhile, Albion are also in advanced negotiations with Southampton for Charlie Austin and hope to get a deal over the line before 5pm.

Finally, Matheus Pereira is currently undergoing a medical in London ahead of a move from Sporting.

That’s likely to be a loan too, although the clubs were discussing the possibility of a permanent deal.

Just seen this on Facebook:

We all know the Albion.... Austin will end up at the toon and gayle will then go on loan to........... Leeds!    ;D ;D ;D

From Sky Transfer Centre.

It would take a very big bid - or a lot of money for a loan signing - for Gayle; Steve Bruce has said he's keen to keep him but the fact he's in today when the rest of the players are off maybe tells you something..."

Interesting reports that training is off at Newcastle today but Gayle has been spotted at the training ground? Would love him to come back but I am sick to death of this its on, its off situation. Its the hope that kills you

Could be having treatment.

And now Boris becomes Prime Minister.  :o

It has been moved before.

The May Day bank holiday has been moved only once before. It was changed from 1 May to 8 May in 1995 to mark the 50th anniversary of VE Day.

Just in case some of you are going to the game.

Those lovely people at the The Pig & Whistle Bar in Benidorm have sorted coaches to get us to and from the game. Each return ticket will cost €10 and will include a beer voucher worth €3.50. On sale in the P&W from 8pm tonight. First 2 coaches leave at 5pm returning for 2nd pick up at 6pm.

I worked on the Albion groundstaff back in the70's and was earning £12 a week was offered a job at Birmingham City for more money turned it down because of loyalty. Only lasted about another 2 years then left to work at Longbridge , more money and Saturdays off which meant I could go to away games which I could not do very often on the groundstaff.

Welcome Filip.

One thing he as got to lean that West Brom fans are not a patient lot.  ;)

According to some reports Shan as left the club

Just been talking to someone from my old days on the groundstaff and his words were " remember how the club was lifted when a certain Mr Giles came into the club to take over from Don Howe, well it feels the same according to his contacts who are still at the club.

I hope he is right.
