He’s excellent - such a good defender in all aspects really. Is only going to improve which is great news for us. Not too fussed about concerns going forwards as I would much rather my defenders defend first. Gibbs is great going forward but is quite a poor defender and it often shows. Far more solidity to the performances of Nathan’s feeguson.

Good to come home with a point given it was our worst performance of the season

Fulham were excellent in large spells with cairney and Reed running the show - not uncommon to see Reed do that to us as he was excellent for Blackburn against us last season.

Game changed when Krovinovic and Edwards came onto the pitch. Edwards gave us a genuine outlet with his pace and trickery and Krovinovic allowed us to beat the Fulham press.

Still unbeaten and we march on to Huddersfield at home.

Another stat, we are tied with Derby who are 19th in the league for the number of draws.

Skewed by an easy fixture list. Need to beat Huddersfield as we dropped points against Reading and Millwall.

I wouldn’t really call playing forest , derby and Fulham away all easy mate . Luton hadn’t  lost at home for how long either .

SOmething like 1.85 pts a game will get you up.

7 x1.85 is 12.95 and we are on 13. Yes i would like to turn all these draws into wins but it's solid start.

Skewed by an easy fixture list. Need to beat Huddersfield as we dropped points against Reading and Millwall.

After a Wolverhampton handful of games, when he's a centre half playing out of position? He's been very good, but that's hyperbole.

Let the kid play his game, and don't get carried away. He won't be brilliant every week, and we'll need to keep a more balanced perspective.

I didn't say he was better than Statham, but I struggle to think of a home produced full back since Statham to compare with his ability and potential.

If Watford go down, I wonder if Foster might be interested in a couple of final years with us.

Southampton keep loaning him out. Be tempted to test the waters next summer if all goes well.

What break? I've not exactly ripped into Nathan have I?

Why do people get so defensive if you so much as hint at a comment that isn't 100% praise?

My comments are constructive based on my opinions and this message board is here for me and others to voice their opinions, that's it's purpose.
You described him as "he's very basic on the ball and won't give you anything going forward which for a modern day full back is a bit of  a drawback", which imo is a travesty.
He is composed, athletic and technically more than adequate.
How you can damn an 18 year old, playing in his first season, with such faint praise defeats me.

We're the only unbeaten team, with 13 points from 7.  2 points a game over a season will see a team promoted, but often teams fall a little below that and still go up automatically. We've played 4 of our games away from home and still have arguably the best centre back in the league to come into the team. All things considered we are have had a great start and look like we can keep it going. I'm very optimistic about our promotion chances this season.
