Getting knocked out of both cups miserably for me didnt help.We could have made the final of the League cup and what a day that would have been.In saying that i would have given him until the Wolves game.We would have won that game last week had he still been in charge

I really hope you're joking in Devon, apparently they've all declared themselves fully fit.

This will be a test of character, whether we can stand up to the pressure and whether we have enough bottle and confidence in ourselves. If the players aren't up for this game then they don't deserve to be in football, it's as simple as. It's a local derby and I expect them all to be gunning for it.

The problem for me lies with set pieces, they've got some pretty decent lads in the air, caused Man United and Chelsea a few problems. Both their winning goals in those games came off set pieces.

All out according to the BBC, in saying that official site say apart from Mulumbu its a clean bill of health

Hughton, a manager with less experience than Di Matteo (albeit by a few games)? Hodgson is a far better candidate. Experience, and has got teams out of relegation battles before.

I think you will find Hughton would have had much more experience than RDM.
Anyway i was not happy with Hodgson but i am warming to him.Even more so if we beat the Dings

If we play like we did against Arsenal and Newcastle then I believe we will stay up (just about) We got in there faces, put them under constant pressure, Andy Carroll got clattered within the first minute and knew he was up against it from the off. I just hate to see our players not closing down and just letting them get near our danger area without any pressure or effort. As for Cech/Jara isn't one of there main jobs to STOP crosses getting into the box in the 1st place? I'm not just blaming the defence as our midfield is very lightweight and does not give them enough protection. I can see Hodgson making quite a few changes to our squad. I believe he will stick with Shorey as he seemed to like him at Fulham, he apparently wanted to sign Brunt/Thomas so I'm guessing he will use them also. I'm hoping he moves Scharner to DM with Mulumbu and gives Ibanez a chance at CB with olsson! I for one believe Hodgson will not stand for no effort from his players and will get them playing as a proper unit. COYB  :D

Didnt we play like we did against Newcastle without Mulumbu
