I am a recent victim of this, and despite 2 letters and replies from Mr Mark Jenkins I have had to admit defeat and move elsewhere - after 50 odd years of following Albion I would like to think that I had "earned" my concession, but sadly no - I have now been forced to leave the match day company of my close friends, which is more than a little disappointing. Its not that the £170 price difference is beyond me but being pressurised in to paying it for the 'privilege' of a West Stand seat is just simply unacceptable to me. Much of the affection I hold for the Club has been eroded by this. No way to treat your loyal customers is it ? and it has left a very sour taste with me.
On another note I believe that the pricing policy is flawed, in that, with no concessions at all being available in the West Stand in order to " maximise revenue " it will create an elitist situation whereby only those people willing and able to pay full price will occupy those seats and indeed buy season tickets for their kids or older relatives - this is in direct conflict with the Chairmans recent statements regarding attracting families to the stadium.
I would like to hear what others views are.
