I hope he isn't the marque signing , big let down if it is. Don't get me wrong I will back him but I just feel he is very overrated and won't be much of an improvement on Thomas. If he joins then I hope he proves me wrong. Can we actually class a loan deal as a marquee signing? I always thought that such a signing meant that he was actually our player. Just a thought.
Could be a shrewd signing on loan especially with an option to buy. Haven't seen too much of him and he was awful in the Play Off final, but by all accounts is a talented player that has an eye for goal. This certainly excites me more than our interest in Di Santo. Kone is the player that I think we should be pulling out all the stops to sign though.I would have liked us to get Kone also but the fact that he's already signed for Everton makes it a tad unlikely now
Will it be a regular event leading up to the Vile Game, might look and sound cool on the box tomorrowSo do we start at 7 minutes or dead on 8 minutes?!...and you're right, would sound brill on sky tomorrow especially with a near full house expected
This week he has gone for a 2-0 Sunderland winCome on, give the bloke his due, he got the 2 bit right! And he's great entertainment value.
Time to prove him wrong again.
The Baggies had an extremely good result against Chelsea last weekend too, but I think Sunderland will beat them on Saturday.
O'Neill never leaves his side open to the counter-attack, which I think is the way West Brom play away from home. If the likes of Steven Fletcher and Adam Johnson play as well as they did at Craven Cottage, Sunderland will win.
