West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: If 'he' plays next week, how do we react?
« on: September 03, 2015, 10:51:01 PM »
I feel booing him is the reaction he is after ( especially after the snake on a plane wind up ) thus making it impossible for TP to pick him for the team , and eventually hasten his conquest to leave the club. So deep down he could be using US to do his dirty work.

Make him play , sing more loudly for Rondon and especially Mozza ignore the t**t....

Let the club recoup as much money as they can in fines , NOT make him unplayable and still raking in the cash.

It is impossible for this moron to keep his gob shut , as he has proved on a number of occasions ( how many chances do we have to give him ). this thread is just winding me up now, I'm off to bed . Perhaps things will be better in the morning . I ain't holdin me breath.....

So now the Daily Star is saying that he is going on strike on the basis of his admittedly silly tweet:

Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace

Not even good English but my interpretation is not that he will 'go on strike'.

It's hard to be sure (as I say because it's badly written but I would say that it more likely means that he won't won't be playing out of loyalty to Peace not that he won't play.

If he does happen to refuse to play then he would be in breach of contract and lose his wages. That would be the same as going on strike.

I doubt that he would be that stupid.

As I said before it's about the supporters  and that's who he would be letting down.

He does needs to apologise and then he needs to be available for selection.

just got back from work thought I'd look to see how this clowns latest antics have been received... there IS doubt he can be that stupid... how does he think this looks to any potential buyers ??? It's hardly going to endear him to anybody...

Well done JP for not rolling over and havin your belly tickled

He looked chuffed enough when we scored yesterday. A happy lad. I wonder if Saido was pleased?

Agreed , one of the 1st players there to celebrate the goal with Rondon. He didn't look like a player who was about to leave the club !
thoroughly professional , unlike some who don't even celebrate when THEY score themselves

Hope he does well and gets game time ,  I thought he came across really well in his interview. I suggested to a Walsall fan mate on Wednesday, after he didn't get on the bench for the League Cup match , that he would be the next ex Albion player to end up at the Banks's

Hilarious comment. Although £35 million for Andy Carroll says you might be onto something  :o

I'm indifferent to Berahino as I was to Odemwingie regards off the pitch behaviour, as long as he scores goals then up to a point I don't care about his personality. I presume we'll get close to £30 million despite the transfer request anyway.

I'd love us to get £30M but unless any of the "other 15 clubs" who are supposed to be interested  put an offer in, we'll be stuck with a take or leave it from Spurs .......... Ideally MANU bid big money and CHELSKI try to rub their noses in it again

Sell up and move on.  £18M-£20M is a lot of money for an ENGLISH striker who cant head a ball.

At spurs he had much better quality defenders at his disposal , and he still couldn't stop them shipping goals . . . Add that to the main villa problem (scoring goals) this appointment could be a disaster ! (not for us mind  :) )

I felt as exited today waiting for the cup draw as I did years ago when at school everyone huddled around a radio listening out for who we would face next round , only this time I was at work , franticly pressing the refresh button on the mobile , the technology may have changed but the buzz hasn't altered a jot  :)

if we can carry on improving the way we are , we wont be the pushover that we would have been under AI in that daunting run in at the end of the season .

standing in the under 15's queue (25p to get in if I remember correctly) with some very tall 15yr olds  :)
the roar every time willy Johnson got on the ball  :)
being relegated with Don Howe as manager  :(
getting hit by a bottle underneath the BRE lobbed by some spurs knob  :o

noticeable improvement in fitness levels under TP , when we stared off the Swansea game pressing and chasing down I did wonder if we could maintain that for the full 90 mins . maybe this is one of the reasons dorrans isn't required any longer .
Has anyone else noticed that now we've started getting reults , opposition mangers have been making comments such as "we didn't turn up" or "our tempo wasn't up to it's normal level" etc ... ?

We've needed a Proper manager since Hodgson left, someone who has a bit of experience/nous when it comes to setting a team up to play against various opposition/players , not just a coach or a 2nd in command with potential . were not always going to end up winning , but I feel were in with more of a shout now , things might just be starting to click .

best performance since man united game , thought Dyer would and Routlidge would have caused more problems than they actually did tonight . was surprised that according to the stats we only had 35% possession I thought it seemed as though we had more than that...

I've noticed a couple of times now where he has been quoted in the press referring to the club as "them" but I cant recall him being quoted as saying "us" ever !

No wonder fans don't hold him in such high regards.

IF he's worth £20 million , how much is Kane worth ??? Kane is streets ahead of our lad in many respects , on the pitch and off it.

I think we should bare in mind spurs are a very good team, they passed and moved very well to the point where we couldn't get a kick for long passages of play . They also pressed us very high ( like pepe wanted us to play ) giving our players less time to pick (attempt) a pass . This is what happened to dawson which subsequently led to the penalty. which is what we did around this time last year to Liverpool when we pressed high and vic scored .

Another masterclass from captain marvellous , playing a ball down the line for LESCOTT to run onto instead of doing the wingers job himself, continually passing the ball inside or backwards and to top it all off a throw in to no one right under TP's nose . should have started with sess from the start. only plus point for me was sick vics energy levels seemed much higher than usual. Just hope Mulumbu makes a big impact when he gets back because he's going to need to.

1.  mulumbu, lack of regular game time under Irvine has affected his form massively
2.  Jacob , many peoples flavour of the month , but i'm relieved he didn't leave amid speculation in last transfer window.
3. Morrison , I've surprised myself with this because I have always thought of him as lightweight , but under Pulis I think he looks better ,
4 gardner, some ability but nothing special
5. dorrans , looks to run out of steam in games.
6. brunt , sideways , backwards , passing . Never takes a player on , slows down momentum of any counter attacks we have .

agree with smudger. at this present time ,  yacob defensive mid . mulumbu advanced ball winner . plus gardner and Morrison ( I'm probably his biggest critic but he has looked better under pulis ) prior to any potential midfield singings
