West Bromwich Albion FC / If Roy Goes Our Team Will Deplete.
« on: April 30, 2012, 01:59:26 PM »
Ok guys,
So I know all of you have heard about Roy and the England Job...so heres my take on it.
Olsson says he might leave to a club like Villa or Fulham
Tchoyi Will probably go due to lack of game time.
Odemwingie is still a little shifty...touch and go.
Long is VERY cosy with Reading manager, chairman etc (He sat and ate with them for the promtion celebratory dinner!)
Cox is probably fed up at the mo too....due to lack of game time.
Oh and FOSTER!! speaks highly of Roy and will probably go if Roy does.

Ps...final word on Long, The only reason he came to west brom is because we were in the premier league. Obviously he still loves reading..and now they're in the PL whats keeping him here.??

West Bromwich Albion FC / This Time Last Year!
« on: March 05, 2012, 07:27:12 PM »
Just thought I'd mention this out of interest, and to highlight our boy's amazing progress.
This time last year:
McAuley- Was playing for Ipswich town, at the weekend he scored the winner against chelsea.
Fortune- Was looking for club to which he could be shipped out to, at the moment, he's awsome.
Morrison- Was struggling to get into the first team, with Paul, Mulumbu Brunt and Thomas dominating midfield.

Worth a thought.
Mulumbuman.

To be honest though, How many times have you seen it when players aren't supposed to be playing, however when it comes to the match, they actually, maybe it'll work vice versa.

According to multiple sources Drogba isn't expected to play as he pulled out of an international game for the Ivory Coast in Midweek.
For the baggies, Thomas hasn't been evaluated as of yet after a suffering a hamstring strain against Sunderland.
However Brunt could start on the bench after missing 8 weeks of action. Unlikey to start though.

And finally off of an injury note, more turmoil has been reported within the Chelsea dressing room this week after Luiz and other Chelsea players have been complaing about Lampard, and him about AVB!

If ever was a good time to playe them, it would be now! COYB

Will you stop having a go at the wo1ve5 we want them in the Prem, 6 nailed on points and a close away game with satisfaction guaranteed.

As crazy as it sounds, I want wolves in the Prem as long as it isn't us instead who goes down. I like the black country derby, it would be rubbish without it.

West Bromwich Albion FC / What Inspires Players?
« on: February 28, 2012, 12:30:20 PM »
Hello Baggies,
I think I speak for every wba fan, when I say that our last two performances have been particularly awsome. Pace, agility, vision and passion have all been re-injected back into the sqaud.
I was just wondering what people thought influenced this change. I think it's probably confidance, coming off the back of a 5-1 dingle victory. However I think the atmsophere could have also played a part.
What do you all think?

(Also If people feel that the girl singing was a good omen, well expect some more results, as last night on Midlands Today she was interviewed and both she and the news programme hinted at her performing again vs Chelsea)

Cheers, Mulumbuman

Reckon we'll sing along with her or not???...I'm up for it!

Pace is Vital.... and we dont have it at the mo!

after the tripe we have been watching for the last couple of months we have every right to become fickle!!

True, however I didn't want people to come here saying "Oh, don't be fickle....."   :D

Thanks for agreeing, Swansea was up for it!, what the hell were we playing at.....I know its not good to become fickle...but what the are the team, Roy and management staff playing at.
Roy is starting to frustrate me....Whenever in post match interviews, he nevers answers a direct question, just comes out with a load of Crap!
Sort it out mate...else we are going down! SERIOUSLY!

« on: February 06, 2012, 09:22:03 AM »
On Saturday I was praying for the snow not to affect the game...
Many of us (Particularly on the way back) made trecherous journeys to get to and from the game!
When we arrive, despite being cold, we were all glad it wasn't called off.
How dare the players play like that after we had all made a dangerous journey. All of the players just didn't look interested an absolute disgrace.
Credit due, the only player that I believe pulled his weight was Fortune. At least he looked up for it.He really impressed me.
The rest however, shocking!
Even the ones like Olsson, and MULUMBU! didn't look up for it.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Drawings.
« on: January 24, 2012, 08:36:33 AM »
Hello all.

I AM NOT SELLING ANY OF MY DRAWINGS ON THIS THREAD.

I simply wanted and ideas or brainwaves on how I could use my drawings to really honour the bomber.
You know, t-shirts, draw him and send to the club to be put in a programme etc...anything.
It would be an honour to draw the bomber himself, and I'm sure any of these ideas would be a thoughtful way to hounour the bomber!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Tchoyi Happy Here?
« on: January 23, 2012, 02:01:54 PM »
It's a shame you acknowledge this, because i saw it too, but chose to ignore it.

I think Tchoyi is the kind of not lazy but very specific and chosen when he puts in full effort, he seems very very laidback, which, when he scores a hatrick to save a point at newcastle away, i can't grumble at.

I don't think he's fully intergrated into the team spirit as alot of the other players, heard an incident Dorrans saying someone isn't pulling their weight and needs to go off last season in a specific away match, take that how you like, only a rumour, but you do have to acknowledge it.

I hope Tchoyi stays and can come on to give an impact when we need it.

Yeah good comment...
I wasn't really slagging him off, just raising a point hat I noticed.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Tchoyi Happy Here?
« on: January 23, 2012, 01:50:40 PM »
Hello all..

Please take a look at this video, its highlights from the stoke game.
Look at tchoyi's reaction to the dorrans goal on the 2nd replay.  1.56-1.59
If I was enthusiastic and happy at the club, I would sure act a bit more excited than that. Away and local rivals and all that.
Hardley wears his heart on his sleave does he??

He has never been a great finisher but he holds the ball up well.

I agree totally also, remember what Ismael Miller used to do for us...hold the ball up, Well I believe Fortune has the same qualities, despite the fact that he may not be a  natural finisher and a little rough around the edges.

Hello All,

When Fortune came on against norwich he looked like a real live wire and up for it.

Could this be just because the rest was so poor?... I know you can't really judge a player on 10 minutes of footie!

What are your opinions?

We have two amazing strikers in Long and Pete...

What the hell is going on here...just think about it....

Hodgson c'mon and sort it out...

I know its very depressing and defeatist...however if we don't buck up our ideas...and contine to play like this we'll go down in my opinion...
