I don't care what anyone says HRK is a better option off the bench than Zohore.

Shouldn’t we be interested in players that will play in the starting 11 rather then players who very rarely play well for 20 minutes .

Shocking decision from the club

Isn’t his contract up in the summer?

There is an upcoming evening with Slav at the Hawthorns with Adrian Chiles. Perfect time to ask him about HRK. I think Hal needs to go at the end of this season personally however a top class coach like Slaven is no mug.

How you going to word the question mate ? Listen Slav Kanu is a pile of crap do not give him a new contract , what you think about that boss ?  ;D

I remember going to Florida in 2002. First season in the prem. I wore my shirt one of the days round Disney and it had the premier league badges on the side of the shirt. Sat next to this American in one of the shows and he was obsessed with the premier league, he was literally offering to buy the shirt off my back . Don’t think that was cause of Albion though it was more down to it being a premier league shirt. Football was just poking its head through in the states back then . Last time I went to the states was 2015. You couldn’t get away from The premier league or football in general , it was everywhere .

I don't see the logic here. Of all the games to rest him for this week, it would be the midweek one at home to a side in the relegation zone.

I’d personally keep exactly the same side that beat Cardiff with Hegazi coming on to the bench . All depends what happens Saturday then but if it all goes to plan , On Tuesday I’d bring Hegazi in for Bartley , Edwards in for Phillips and zohore in for Austin. All 3 of those players would struggle to play 3 games in a week anyway. Maybe even bring Gibbs in for Ferguson. Then if all goes to plan again go back to the same team against boro against charlton.

Got a decent break then before the stoke game to decide what team he wants to play

Pulis and Pardew both played him only Moore/Jones and Bilic haven't.

He's been more of a sub for Charlton this season but Charlton's midfield is pretty solid. Has been good when he has come on, provided a couple of goal saving blocks. Was lucky not to have had a red card a few games back for a lunge though.

Pulis and pardew played him yes but for how many games? They dropped him pretty quick from what I can remember. He certainly wasn’t a staple in their sides .

Id say pulis pardew Moore and bilic have all passed on Sam field . Now it’s looking like or bowyer is aswell. Which tells you something. He is 21 now , certainly not a kid anymore , should be starting week in week out now

I've heard we may recall him and send them Rekeem Harper back.

I’d rather be starting harper in our side then field . Personally think Harper’s a lot better. How many managers haven’t played Field . The numbers getting bigger and he is struggling to get in the charlton side now

It’s pretty simple really if you go in a home end you try and blend in , why did he feel the need to wear a shirt , what is he ten years old ?

Can’t believe this is even making the news. It’s simple don’t go in home ends if you do blend in , don’t make it obvious that your an away fan . If you get caught out and either whacked or chucked out accept it that’s the consequences if you go in a home end . That’s life . Blokes an absolute idiot

It depends did he do anything other than wear a shirt while sat next to his wife? If not it sounds very jobsworth and power tripping from the stewards.

When we got Cardiff away mate ? You going to go in their end wearing an Albion top ??

Bearing in mind Cardiff city’s reputation as fans aswell . Surely he knows that . If there’s games that have the potential for trouble then Cardiff is one of them .

The website from the very first post on the topic ( https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/championship/attendances ) gives our average attendance so far this season as 23,723. For 2018/19 it's 24,198.

The 23,723 figure is also given by the Birmingham Mail here https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/west-brom-attendance-leeds-forest-14835716

The 24,198 figure also given here https://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-championship-2018-2019/1/ and here https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/newsbirmingham/how-west-broms-crowds-this-season-compare-to-aston-villa-birmingham-city-leeds-and-more-rivals/ar-BBM0CLt

So that would put it down from last season.

To be fair it’s only down from last season because the away supports that have come haven’t filled the away end . Apart from Saturday anyway

3 police officers and 4 stewards yeah that’s over the top i agree with that but the idiot deserved to be thrown out . I can guarantee you now if you wore an Albion shirt in the Cardiff end you would end up in an ambulance not just be thrown out.

What did he expect to happen , not very clued up is he . I’ve been in home ends following the Albion and I wouldn’t dream of wearing colours , you try the best not to jump up if we score.

Why did he have to wear a shirt and make a point just go in plain clothes and enjoy the game. Nobody would of even known then. Idiot if you ask me

The bloke deserved everything he got

Don't forget we have lost a whole front row to advertising in the lower East Stand so our capacity is lower than last season.

Not forgetting the 800 plus seats that have been taken out due to advertising in the away end. So technically now our capacity is around the 25,500 mark

Who starts for this then?

Unchanged starting 11 for me from the Cardiff game then on the bench I’d go

Bond , Gibbs , Hegazi , Edwards , Krovinovic , Zohore , Robson Kanu

To think that 18 still leaves out Brunt, Townsend , Harper , o’Shea , Willock ,  Al-Habsi and Barry when he is fit .

That’s a strong 25 man squad

Albion Matchday Forum / Re: Ticket Info & Requests
« on: October 05, 2019, 10:05:38 AM »

Approx. 23,500 ignoring restricted view seats which only go on sale for sell outs really. There are 204 seats at the front of the East Stand not used now due to extra advertising.

Forgot about them , so that’s roughly 1000 seats being taken away and used for advertising this season  :) think there’s only Albion I know that reduce their capacity

The villa play off games attendance was 25,700 that was with those seats in the east stand still there but villa having 2000 away tickets .So the capacity this season is going to be around 25,500

How many tickets do we have in home sections mate ? Roughly 23,700? If u took out the 2800 in the away section ?

Wonder why we’ve only given them 2000 instead of the 2800 full away allocation . Really don’t think it’s down to the police as they really aren’t that bothered anymore. Maybe the advert in the stand is worth more then the 800 tickets  :D

I fear Bamford may play a pivotal role; having missed out on a blatant red-card at Charlton. Need a lot of concentration in defence but definitely think our wide play-makers can get at them and cause them trouble.

Saw that on the highlights, absolute blatant red card. First thing I thought was he would have been suspended for our game. Even the commentator on the highlights couldn’t believe he got a yellow instead of a red

I called first thing and there were 300 left when i rang. Looking forward to this, our last game there was so so good with the last minute winner.

There’s still 3 blocks unopened in that lower tier so potentially we could have more but I can’t see us selling more then the 300 left in those two blocks this week

Id snap your hands off to be in their position... following their club in Europe..

I haven't seen any Nuno bashing - but no doubts its a testing time.

They will be fine this season

100% Liam  .  Being away in Europe apart from winning the FA cup is the pinnacle for clubs like us and wolves , realistically anyway .

I’d snap your hands off to be in their position, even if they get relegated which I don’t think they will I’d still snap your hands off. The memories we would have Liam  ;D
