My glass is definately half full we have a decent team with Ivanovic, Gallager and probably Krovinovic and another to add to the squad. Also being a fan since the 60s or should I say of the 60s jumping to conclusions after 3 matches just seems odd.

Clean sheet for Lincoln today against Charlton..Palmer playes really well..no sign of any adverse effects from the mauling by Liverpool in midweek...Morton not in the squad again..
Pleased for the lad I reckon he is of   strong character a must for a good goalkeeper.

If Man City can get battered at home then anyone can in this league.

I'm convinced Bilic has lost the plot.  Played 2 Lost 2 Conceded 8 goals.

Those facts must tell him that the formation is not working and the players are not good enough.

Why persist with Johnstone ?  Why persist with a back 5 ?

This could be an embarrassment .  In fact we could go all season rooted to the bottom of the league. Has that ever happened to another team in the premier league ?
Plenty I imagine Derby spring to mind.

Yes BUT i think we were having an ok half and still in the game at 1-2.

Would i rather see 4231/433 - yes but I'm just trying to be a bit "glass half-full" for a bit.
No harm in being positive but it's a rare condition in UK 2020!

Gallagher isn't the answer!? After one game in a mostly reserve team!! Different to what Tony Brown was saying in the commentary. Unbelievable.
Amazing eh I reckon we will all be raving about him in a months time.

10
to be fair, it’s like this even when we win nowadays  ;D
LOL, many a  a true word  ;)

The usual moanfest when we lose a game I'll leave you all to it, enjoy !

That was a second string Brentford side.
So was ours with two players who have been at the club a week.

13
Brentford knocked Saints out last round and were probably the best team at the end of last season in the Championship so not that big a shock.

Positives all of the above plus we have a better and younger team than the last time we were in the Prem.
We have a better manager who will give us football worth watching.
The academy are turning out some good youngsters who will break into the team in the next year or two such as Palmer .

Ah. I mean if by "good servant" you mean he was here for a long time then yeah, alright. True enough.
For me, he did leave under a cloud though. Looked thoroughly disinterested towards the later stages of his time with us, and whilst I understand there were quite reasonable issues with him not attending the pre-season with Pulis, refusing to pre-season with us the next year, and making it clear he wanted out, was pretty rubbish of him.
I forgot that stuff but still think he was a player who gave  the club good service apart from the last season when a lot of players seemed under a cloud .

Good...he's rubbish.
He was a good servant for the Baggies especially as we paid a minimal amount for him so if he gets back in the Prem good luck to the bloke.

It seems another step closer but has others have said only when I see the shirt, as a side issue you have to smile at some fans on here I have known vila and wolf fans more complimentary about the Albion!

Think he's on about Andy Townsend.
I think Branislav is a different character he's won everything dosen't need the money or to be remembered as that bloke who just wanted a last meal ticket, he's here to show he can still compete in the prem at his age.

I don't mean this generation of 65 year old in particular. I mean everyone when they reach that age. Less tolerance for nonsense my grandad used to say.

 ;D
Probably some truth in that in life generally you have to suffer idiots such has those you work with  especially in these PC times  but once you are free from those shackles you can say what you think it's quite liberating!
AS for the virus lets get on with living but at the same time take sensible precautions .

Another loanee we will come to rely on, who will then go onto better thing leaving us with a gaping hole to fill.
Would you ather we didn't sign such players leaving them open to strenthen other teams ?

No but when BI signs tommorow as rumoured unless Hegazi is sold he's 5th choice.
We will need to unload a centre-back Hegazi is probably favourite.

Edwards above Phillips on the bench, guess Slav likes his music  ;D. Seriously though wonder if Phillips is the one to be sold for a fee ?
One of those we need to move on.

Kipre not in the squad, good work Dowling and co. If he's viewed as worse than Bartley i'm worried.
Going with players that know each other understandable it dosen't mean Kipre is a bad player.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Connor Gallagher

It's more likely that Krov will be signing come what may but we holding it back as depending on who else we sign we don't know yet if we are better off getting him on loan again with an option to buy or just signing him outright. I suspect we've agreed either option in principle, but are wary of using up a loan space whilst we are in discussions for other players. I'd be amazed if ultimately we don't sign him as all parties want the move to happen and he was a big favourite in the dressing room.

For example if we get Gray and Gallagher on loan then we'd have to buy Krov whilst if we sign Grant and get Gallagher on loan we can then loan Krov (as we can only loan two players at any one time).
I may be wrong but I thought  loan signings from abroad don't count towards the domestic total?
