I've been texting a Leeds mate of mine. Last weekend he was confident they had done enough to get promoted, now he's bricking it - "everything is perfectly set up for us to mess it up". I fancy them against Stoke tomorrow but they also have a tricky game at Swansea on the weekend and will also be feeling the heat.

My best mate is a Leeds geezer and he is feeling some heat right now. Swansea could be a great chance for us; I want us to win the League, not just get promoted. Let's face it, it's the only silverware we are likely to get.

Every team has been doing this, Frank took it one step further with the tactics board but if you think Bilic spends the drinks break asking the lads what they're having for tea then you're wrong.

Win our games.

That's it. Entirely.

They park the bus anyway. With a 1 goal lead it'll be the whole fleet.

Hope they keep it up. Even a draw is superb for us 👌🏻

Staggering, ay it.

Following this avidly; can we get a lucky result? And then NOT rest on our laurels tomorrow....

I'm just glad that we play Derby before either Brentford or Leeds. As someone else said, if we win - and that's still a big if of course - it really piles the pressure on...

I 'saw' our third goal on this forum before I saw it on i-Follow....!

Seven goals from two games. Our defending leaves a lot to be desired at times but I'll happily take the 'we'll score one more than you' philosophy.

Thrilling if nervy game and I have to say I hope Hull stay up.

I do hope Brentford and Leeds slip up a little but mostly I want us to get 15 more points!! No pressure.

This is nerve wracking.

Sam has to take charge of defence. We are shocking at the back at times.

Really could have done with 3-1 at half time. Not for lack of trying. Some great work so far today.

Harper disappointing, Hegazi and Pereira outstanding. Have to apologise about Ahmed; I slagged him off the other day when in fact he played well.

Come On You Baggies, it's in our hands!

In blunt terms, Brentford can get a maximum of 15 points and I'm fairly sure they will get them.

So we need 14 out of our remaining possible 18.

Without a doubt Derby is the challenge for both teams and in a week's time the whole balance may change, in our favour or not.

Changed to the actual team name

I am watching it and I am surprised too,, but we are looking better now - a bit of belief at last.

I refer the honourable gentleman to my earlier post  ;)

Same old as in the last three games.
Desperately need a goal to settle nerves and regain confidence.

Confidence is a big part of it. We lost so much momentum with the lockdown - I know everyone will have done - but it's clearly hit us. Maybe the psychology of Leeds being top for three months hasn't helped either.

Clearly they are really out of form. But I'd take a really raggy win tonight to start to regain some self belief.

With respect....he hasn’t buried his head hence the “yet”

We are still 5 points ahead , Brentford do now have a bit of pressure though....I don’t think a draw at reading is out of the realms of possibility which would then mean we could beat Wednesday and open up A 7 points Gap
If we start against Hull 7 points clear I would be prepared to bet that we are up.

Me too - I'm holding my breath somewhat at the moment - obviously it's still very much in our hands. If Brentford finish third I think they will still go up. If we finish 3rd, not so sure we would.

I’m hoping 5hat Fulham beat Brentford , Brentford are the best team we have had at the hawthorns this season IMO.
However I’m quite confident that between Pererira, krovinovic, HRK,Diangana, phillips, Edwards, grosiki there’s enough to get us a 4-0 in the first match back and settle the nerves .

Easy for anyone to comment with the hindsight we have now. Prior to the restart I'd have agreed with you completely. Now, looking at our form and remaining fixtures, I'm only eyeing up 10 points for us. I'm expecting Brentford to get 18.

Come on Albion, surprise me for once.

His times over with us now move him on

Totally agree. That was his worst shift for us yesterday, shocking.

It's grim.

We've waited so long for football to return and once it was on the horizon I had a sinking feeling - a feeling that so far has been well and truly justified.

What I've seen is truly depressing compared to the performances we witnessed prior to the enforced break. I really want to be wrong.... but I don't think we are getting out of this division this season.
