I know that it is circumstantial but we all know the truth don’t we! The rich always seem to escape justice

If I had been drinking, smashed my car into three cars and just left my details  and walked away what would be the inference? Yes, that I was drunk at the time. End of argument.

How are we going to go about keeping the likes of Robinson and Diangana if the season doesn't start again before June? Surely the leagues would just have to extend the deadline to the conclusion of the league as opposed to a set date? Perreira can be triggered anytime so I'm not so concerned about that one. Would be a big blow to lose Robinson and Diangana with 9 games to go.

With such a tight squeeze on wages I think we'll have no problem keeping Robinson. However Diangana may be wanted back at West Ham to help in their relegation scrap.

That’s good news.

Play behind closed doors and stick matches on free to air

That would only make sense if the Government shut all pubs.

Playing behind closed doors is the only sensible option in view of the advice we are getting from medical experts. It would also be wrong to show the games on TV as people would naturally congregate in pubs to watch them, which will be worse than attending the games. I suppose that they could screen recorded highlights after say 11pm or between 7am and 11am.

Congratulations Slaven. I hope you win it again in April and again in May. You can then collect your Manager of the Year Award as well once our title is confirmed!

After today's COBRA meeting it looks as if the Government will ramp up the measures to try and stop the spread of the disease. If playing matches behind closed doors is considered necessary then no one can really complain.

100% guaranteed,  the italian stats are pretty scary 9000 cases 450plus dead and accelerating !

We are today on 320 cases, which is where Italy was on Feb 25th, so we are tracking almost exactly 2 weeks behind, its going to get messy !

Those are really frightening stats.

I wasn’t impressed with Bilic’s starting line up. I thought it was very negative. Either Austin or Zohore should have started. It was not the most inspiring games to watch but we had two golden chances to win it late on but Livermore and Furlong blazed their edge of the box efforts over the bar when they weren’t under any pressure to shoot. And they call themselves professional footballers

I am not bothered about any results apart from ours. If we win the next four we’ll be difficult to pass.

With everyone - Diangana apart - fit to play I think this is the game where we will finally turn the screw and notch up a few goals.

I think we should make every effort to sign both Filip, and Grady.

I agree, but it is highly West Ham will let Grady go on a permanent basis. A loan is a possibility. However, if the Hammers are relegated they will want Grady to help them get back up.

Badly as we have played we could have been level by now with a bit of luck in front of goal

Almiron again.

Get some youngsters on in the second half in place of Brunt and Barry

Has anyone got live BBC pictures?

I’ve paid my tv licence but the BBC coverage keeps breaking up. Bloody BBC

Joelinton cuts in from the left but Bond stops well

What’s happened to Austin’s dyed blonde locks 🤣

A free kick to Newcastle just outside the box but it goes straight into the wall

Barry caught in possession and leaves Newcastle with a golden opportunity. Thankfully they made a hash of it. Then Kyle Edwards tested the keeper with a thunderous drive from 20 yards

The bookies don’t think it will be a walk in the park for Newcastle. They are only 9/5 to win whereas we are 8/5 - little in it seeing we are playing basically a reserve side against a strong Premier League outfit.
