We must keep Allardyce to the end of his contract.  Don't want him lounging around on severance pay*.  At the end of the season, it will be clear he couldn't keep us up despite his reputation.  Glad for him that he thinks it's all very amusing.

Diagne doesn't seem to have a clue about the offside rule,  He doesn't move our with his marker before the cross ball is struck.  Planted one straight at the keeper in the first half.  Still it's early days and he's big so that's the main thing for BS, isn't it?

*No harm in looking for a replacement now,
Sam has a "bone" to pick with Albion from past events. He was fired back in the 80s.....and I am guessing may have come back to haunt us ??? I hope not but picking our best player on the bench and giving him 9 minutes is a traversty and disgraceful.

I am over the current situation and looking forward to next season in a "real" footballing league.

Happy to have these youngsters forming the basis of a good team......Harper, Field, Edwards, O'Shea,Townsend, Grant,Diangana and Semi.
Pretty sure Sam Johnstone and Periera will be sold to raise some cash for players.

I am over the "greed" league, not just the decisions against us, but the send offs for any push, shove or a goalkeeper handball outside the area (how ridiculous).

I throw the forum open to any players you think we have in the youth ranks who could do a job for us in the "Chumps".

I have a sneaky suspicion that it will be Field and Gallagher as the central two on Saturday.
It should be Field and Gallagher, otherwise we are in for another spanking.

:D Sorry I disagree with a lot of these posts about Semi.
I think he has been one of our best performers and chipped in with goals, as well.
He and Bartley have had no defensive midfield cover so are stretched out of position to deal with danger and then have to rush back into position and marking.
An example of lack of DMs can be seen in the last ditch tackles Bartley had to make late on against Wolves as he flung himself into tackles as the "paper thin" DMs couldn't be bothered to clear the danger as Wolves came down the middle.

Also happened against Man City.....Sawyers not clearing a ball on the edge of the area and they scored. Ball should have gone into Row Z in that dangerous position.

Maybe he should question why we went 4 at the back and dropped Bartley?
What about Gallagher (our "workaholic" ) not even bought on as a Sub??? What is going on at this Club. Bartley was our man of the match 2 weeks ago and dropped????? Something is wrong here...the "poison" throughout the place??

Sawyers got 1 out of 10 from the Bham Mail. What did he do to deserve that?
;D He ran across the pitch to shirt exchange with a City player...so he got a 1 for that

At least it wasn’t 7 or more
>:( That's Because City felt sorry for us and took their foot off the gas. It could easily have been 7 or 8 ,what a shambles and in we are in the deep proverbial. :(

??? I don't often have a "negative" expression on this site but today I am having a right go at the whole situation we are in.

1. I have supported Albion since 10 October 1964 and have never been this down with the situation  we are in.

2. A complete "inept" showing by the team, over the season. No player got a better score than a 2 today from me.

3. I realise we are a Championship team playing in the Greed league, but these blokes are not giving a toss.

4. Can someone please write a letter to Slaven and ask him to come "home" and be our coach in the Championship next year.

5. SA please walk. Lai please sell you are killing our beloved club...we will be playing Walsall, Stockport and Blackpool (again) very soon at this rate.

6. I cannot even speak about the lack of money given to spend on "new" players it is a complete farce.

Problem is if we go  2 down we have to score 3 and we are not capable of doing that.

We need good defensive mid-fielder to shield Bartley and Semi. Sawyers and Livermore are not doing that. Maybe pull Gallagher back a bit to do that job.

Someone mentioned Sharner, Mulumbu and Yacob shielding our centre backs. Those players were a godsend and boy do we need someone of their calibre now
 some sort of "enforcer".

;D Thought Button did the basics right and got well behind the ball for a few shots. A fairly solid backup for SJ I believe ;D ;D ;D

;D This is Albion and we have been pumped a few times this year.
But knowing us we will win 2-1 against all odds (as Phil Collins would say).

;D Apparently blowing out his backside after 50 mins....Warburton took him off and made the comment "We have to bring Charlies' fitness level up".

Beggers the question are the Albion squad fit enough??? Obviously not as fit as most of their Premiership opposition???  This is a problem if so.

Ajayi has been awful for a while, his passing is really bad.  He'll hit 1 good pass in about 10 attempts and concede possession most of the time.  He gets skipped over a bit because usually it's Bartley and Ivanovic getting the flack.  None of our defence can pass the ball and that's part of the problem - they concede possession too easily or we have to get the midfield drop so deep that it puts way too much of a gap between them and the forward.
I thought Ajayi was one of our best players defended really well and cleverly...some of his passes went astray but not significantly. ;D

controversial I know, but where did Gallagher go after 60 mins ?
I thought Sawyers was ok at ticking it over, but is that enough in the prem?
Periera much more contribution in middle
Robinson being subbed baffled me

Set pieces, mix them up, don't let MP take them all !
Mate he ran his "knackers off" and scored the winning goal...give him a break if he gets a bit tired after 70 mins....probably a good idea to bring on Krov after maybe 60 mins???

All keepers make errors...part of the game. Sam has been 10/10 the last 3 games.

Going back to errors I remember Ray Potter(in the 60s) (who was a good solid keeper) came across for a corner at chest height...easy save and he spilt it, dropped it into the net after grasping it to his chest.

In those days a greasy ball often no gloves on the keepers and a centre forward giving you a nudge as you caught the ball. ;D

 >:( Tim Sherwood said we wont win 11 games to stay up. Slav should post this on the dressing room wall. I am sure this would motivate the players.

On another note Gallagher is bound for the top in the game he is a "human dynamo". Periera and Grady are performing at 60% and need a kick up the backside.

Also Krov should be playing every game.

;D Slav you have done a wonderful job with your hands tied behind your back (take note Furlong)LOL.

You have been limited with resources to keep the team up and you "CARE ABOUT" the team and supporters. I take my hat off to you.

The team has performed extremely well the last couple of games, and with poor refereeing and VAR to contend with.
