I've been told Pereira can speak English but doesn't feel confident enough to conduct interviews. I agree it's important to have an understanding of what's going on but it's not like he's the little kid in the corner at school with only one person to speak to. I wonder what language (industrial probably) was being used when he was arguing with opposition players this season gone.

free to watch. I watched the Sam Johnstone one and Ajayi's goals.

Shouldn't really but I did chuckle when I saw that 'Sam Johnstone's best bits from the promotion campaign' only lasts forty seconds  ;D .

Yes, I did it this morning to watch a couple of videos.

Was there a basic subscription fee or were the videos free to watch?

Well documented for the last few days.

Oops, proves how little time I spend on this thread   ;D .

cheers, not my area by any means. Done it myself and the page does not have an SSL certificate (there should be a padlock looking icon on the address bar) even though it’s a https address. Could just be the key is incorrect for that page but that will be why, it’s saying one thing but can’t be verified. Like hiring a lawyer with a degree in art.

There's a padlock on the OS, it states that the certificate was issued by Amazon on July 30th and expires next August. It's this place that hasn't got one. Unless it's this place you're on about. I'm confused. Back on topic the new OS looks a bit of a dog's dinner to be honest. There's a lot going on, very 'busy'.

I was under the impression that the message for how long it was to wash your hands was 20 seconds on a regular basis ? Last night while watching a programme on Channel 4 +1 a advert came on saying wash your hands for 40 seconds. Anyone else heard or seen this advert?

I haven't seen the advert but the government recommends at 'least' twenty seconds while UNICEF  recommends at 'least' twenty to thirty. Although I've never bothered using a stopwatch I suspect I take longer than both recommendations.

Dingle Downing?

I'm sure you'd think differently if his cognomen was Viler Downing...  ;)

I'd have been 'flipping' well all over it chap  ;D ! Seriously though, decent coach who along with Dean Kiely helped to keep us up following the McDoughnut/Mel debacle. All cognomens aside I felt Downing was very harshly treated by some. No arrows intended.

Decent coach who received a lot of unwarranted stick towards the end of his time with Albion.

There's something about Burke that I like. There's a player in there somewhere. Somewhere. Somewhere very deep. Pity Jacques Cousteau's dead as he could have come in handy  ;D .

I know I shouldn't be but I'm quietly impressed with the amount of whooshes the quoted post has attracted  ;D .

I'd say it's more likely that Smith wants more of "his men" around him. From what I remember, Smith didn't bring Terry in - the club did. Smith just inherited him....

John Terry signed a contract extension during Smith's tenure, he seemed pretty chipper about working with him at the time.

In fairness to Parker he got his tactics bang on in the play off final. I'm just wondering when his balls are going to drop. I've got boxer shorts that look older than him. In fairness that's probably not an indicator of anything other than me being tighter than a duck's @rris given I still wear shirts and t-shirts which are older than my twenty year old son  :-X .

Shakespeare isn’t a good appointment to add to the staff but it does question the future of Terry.

That makes Shakespeare, Terry and o’Kelly all assistants, not to mention Cutler being there aswell who has a bit involvement.

Too many chefs?

Terry on the move?

Good article on The Athletic about Rico Richards and Rayhaan Tulloch. Going through who they are as players and some background.

Cheers very much but there's a pay wall, never mind.

By the way have we been paid for the lad who went to Barca/ villa yet?

Pretty sure we haven't, no. Wouldn't be overly surprised if we never see a Euro of it either to be honest. And if anybody thinks his subsequent move to the Vile wasn't pre considered needs to wake up.

Yes, he confirms he was a Villa fan in his youth, so I'd be more harsh on someone who so-to-speak, 'changed sides'.
I can also see that he probably has a wife and kids to feed, and can't be too choosy about waiting for the right club to come along with an offer.  Its just I thought he had more of an Albion backround. Indeed I remember he was in the team when I first started watching them.

He's not exactly skint. Even if he is, now he's signed for the Seals there'll be a few buckets of fish to be had. Viler.

My understanding is that because we accepted a £11m bid from them, that that has set the tone for the negotiating.

Even allowing for what has happened in the world since then we should be looking at around that level. I'd be surprised if it's below £8m. Given NF's knee it might be more weighted to appearances and the like than the average one.

I'm just curious as to whether Palace have any option to reject the Tribuneral's findings? If they came back with "oh wow, he's a talent and given Ake's fee we think £25m is fair", do Palace have an option to say "nope" and walk away?

Not sure but I wouldn't have thought so now that they're committed to a three year contract with Ferguson himself.

I don't care who it is, any grown man who can't make his mind up over who they support isn't to be trusted. On any level. I wonder how long it'll be before Smith's out and Pearson rocks up.

Boyhood Viler apparently. He's good mates with a former colleague of mine. Met him once, seemed ok I suppose. Bloke's completely dead to my eyes now he's signed as a fully paid up member of the Seal Sanctuary. I absolutely despise that club. And as mentioned earlier, Lange is very good at what he does. Sadly.

I would have liked to have seen how he performed for Charlton last season. Pity he got injured following on from the racism row. Must have been a very tough year for him to deal with all round. I still think there's a player there. I'd like to see us extend his contract if at all possible with a view to loaning him out until January with the obligatory recall option.
