Really? A fire hazard in a restricted space and also a mask for possible real fires? Sounds fair to me and sends a strong message that they are not needed or wanted. I heard on the news this morning that people are getting their kids to carry them into grounds knowing they aren't subject to searches. I thought you were meant to keep kids away from fireworks...
Oh and GBH carries the life sentence in this country as the maximum punishment.
Maybe GBH was a bad example, I'd say it is like a death sentence for fraud
Come on mate, you see people robbing old ladies getting community service yet taking a smoke bomb into the ground you can go to prison. The way football fans are treated differently in this country is a joke.
That stupid Geordie who hit the horse got a year jail sentence yet the story next to it in the paper a chap hit his missus in the stomach which caused her to miscarriage yet he got 5 months.
Also go to a football match and be caught up in a bit of a trouble, it could be your first ever offence and you stand a very good chance of going down. Where as go out on the town on a Saturday night could be in a fight you would probably spend a night in the cells and be let out in the morning.
The way football fans are treated is shocking, I guarantee if someone got found taking a smoke bomb into the Cricket it would probably be confiscated and they would still be allowed in the ground.
