A great point all things considered, Much better when Livermore/Phillips went off, Phillips especially. Prefer 2 up top but with our squad i can't see him doing that even though it seemed a 4-4-2 when Hal came on.

They are a good side, Clearly a mirror image of us. Our setup doesn't suit this kind of game, I would go 4-4-2 flat now, Hold the ball uptop with big Z or Hal.

Phillips is always out of position, Seems to leave our RB exposed alot.

Lucky we are still in it. I would drop off and hope for a counter, A draw here would be good.

Austin had a good chance.

Side to side all day long, Big Z just isn't a threat and doesn't bring players in either. Toothless performance. Credit to Sam aswell for that pen.

Reading look a decent side to be fair, But abit more awareness from Phillips and he could have slipped a couple of players in instead of wild shooting. Livermore offers nothing, Sawyers just giving the ball away at every attempt aswell. going to be a 1-0 either way i feel.

Should have buried that open goal chance, His job every day every week is to just finish, Get you're shooting right. How in the world strikers these days look sunday league level type finishers is abysmal. Not a slant on him as Luke Moore was atrocious, Just baffles me that they do this job every day and still mess up the basics.

Good half, Like the look of our synergy between players. Apart from Livermore and the forward i am happy. Hegazi for Bartley aswell further down the line. Edwards took his goal great, What a boost of confidence for the season ahead. And fair play too the RB aswell on his first game.

Great interview from the lad, One of us clearly and supporting a team you play for must be such a good feeling. In no way shape or form should Brunt be ahead of him in the team either. But i love the respect Brunt gets at the club, Fully deserved and hoping Romaine can become a legend now aswell.

Just feels like it's all pointless, Why have grass roots football and academy's, They just get pinched by bigger clubs. They spend years at a club and instead of wanting to become new legends and break records,They get pinched, Play in a league cup now and again, Loaned out and end up in the same league they left anyway.

We clearly have a good academy, These young players should be the new legends but it never happens in modern football, Money and wages and social media status is more important.

Hopefully he does a Harper and stays.

A bench that is worth £240 million and Aguero on the bench wins 6-0 in the final against the 10th best team in the country, While completing a domestic treble. You would think it's Football Manager stuff but it's reality.

Spend the most, Win the most. Simple really.

Lets get at them, Bring Montero/Leko on for Murphy and run at them, That switch pass is always on. Brunt worrys me as once again offers nothing in the middle, Harper should come on to help Johansson.

If the keeper fumbles it Gayle gets lambasted for not going for it, Disgusting 2nd yellow and had a bad feeling about that ref before the game. And proved my instinct when he should have gave us a pen aswell.

They can be got at, But Villa will now set up to counter us which without Gayle can't see us penetrating.

You may know that they will spank us but I don’t. Just how good do you think Villa are? I appreciate that they will be favourites but we have a chance, I really believe that.

It's because we dont even have or know our best 11 or personal, Villa have that now, It's all momentum based and confidence, Our lot lately have bottled it, Mix that with we don't even have a manager to sort them out, Then it all points to a spanking. It's inevitable since our lot are bottle jobs lately.

For me Shan got it majorly wrong today with that set-up and scares the life out of me thinking were going to have 3 at the back again with Bartley in the centre.

Villa will be well up for it, The whole ground will be. I just don't see leaders in our team willing to cope with that.

Can't Burke be eligible to play in the playoffs?

Can't see us beating the Vile you need to do what Leeds did and put someone on Grealish we just don't have anyone who can do what Kalvin Phillips did.

I'd say Harper but the mans made his mind up and is elsewhere, Maybe Field could do the job, Definitely not Livermore though.

Don't have a clue what out best formation is, Personal, Players have been chopped and changed, Like it's press randomise and go from there.

How we don't have a manger is laughable, And the players are running the show it's evident.

Villa will spank us, We all know and sense it. They had numerous chances against us at home, And Grealish was't playing the 2nd game.

Jenkins needs to answer for alot. Roll on the massive clearance in the summer.

No chance in playoffs, The lack of leadership from a manager is evident as day. Constant change of formation, Players, No settled side, Let too many goals in, Better players are loan players, And Harper just doesnt look bothered at all since he knows his going.

We are a joke and too much needs sorting out, Villa will have it easy and it's going to be torture, Some real issues at the club being clouded over by the playoffs.

Complete clean out in the summer.

We will never get promoted with this defence, Far too many goals conceded. Chop and change the team each week, Different defence, Different strikers, Different midfield, Different formation.

Some would think we need a manager to manage the team  :o

Chance to go 3rd just throw away with this selection, Saying that we have had a couple of chances to be level. But this team will get destroyed by Villa.

Hopefully doesn't stick with this 3 at the back, They just got outjumped by one of the smallest strikers. Already getting overran in the middle, JRod outwide etc doesn't work as his touch is abysmal.

Just not looking forward to Villa at all if this is how the team is going to be set up.

Midfield threw together each week, Always changing aswell. Defence changes each week and doesn't improve, Goalkeeper is just a let down and doesnt inspire any of us, And Jrod is just woeful same as HRK.

Barnes/Gayle/Phillips even Gibbs carried alot for us going forward.

Were bang average team without them other than Gayle who shows effort and gets chances at least.

We don't seem to have an identity, Just players picked to play a game, Rotating squad each game, Just no idea what there doing. Needs a manager to sort them out, Maybe the keeper could have done better for 2 of the goals. Defo been suspect all season.

Individual players not bailing us out shows our team is bang average.

Wrong choice to take the wide option out the team , we have no out ball . Needs Murphy or Edwards on.

Kinda knew he would after the impact HRK had against blues, Then Millwall being the opposition. Amazing how you can predict what a manager will do sometimes.

Hopefully he makes an inspired sub again!

They are making us play to there strengths, The lineup was full of workers but no spice, Defo need to change it up. Can't see us doing anything though. Need Edwards/Murphy/Leko to carry the ball.

Need runners with the ball, With abit of magic about them. Murphy, Edwards etc. HRK is a much better sub. We should be 2-3 down.

Belongs nowhere near a CM position, His a liabilty there as evident by most of his season, But we need him for his assists as proved by last few games with his set pieces. Different games without them since we struggle unless Brunt/Phillips take them.

Would much prefer him LB.
