We have already chose one bookie who went bust now have we got another one who aren't exactly as good as they should be

Tlcbet changing people betting account balance and saying its a mistake, now as a club we don't really want to be put with this type of stuff

Could be interesting what happens over the coming months , they must pay a fair amount to sponsor us which makes it slightly weird

General Football & Sports / Match Fixing

Been a lot of talk of match fixing in sport laterly with football coming out with 2 just in the past week or so

In coming years do people think it will ever be in England top leagues?

I  personally dont think it will EVER touch the top of the premier leagues as a whole, they earn to much money to put a fix on the line

General Football & Sports / The Rooney Rule
« on: October 26, 2012, 12:30:05 PM »
Just been reading Jason Robert latest interview and came across this interesting bit

"The Rooney Rule, established in 2003, requires NFL teams to interview one black or ethnic minority candidate for any head coach or senior football operation positions that become available, as part of a transparent and open recruitment process."

What are people thoughts on this?

Why should someone be interviewed just because of their colour? Shouldn't they be interviewed if they fit the position not just for the sake of it

If they are good enough fair enough

Who is everyone going for?

Tough tough one to call at the moment with the weather up in the air a bit more rain over the next few days the going might even be soft, but reckon it will go off at good to soft at the moment

I wont be backing Synchorised whatever, To short odds just because he won the gold cup which he didnt jump amazing and the national fences are a lot higher, dont believe he will make it to the end

West Bromwich Albion FC / The moment you fall out with going to games
« on: October 20, 2011, 10:20:32 AM »
All of us must of had this at some point or another in their time

My time has come i was undecided if to get a season ticket at start of season and did get one but now i just dont enjoy going nowhere near as much,  Stop away games couple years back and didnt even try getting Villa tickets,

I still enjoy football and love playing it when not injured but for going games ive lost that buzz, i dont think travelling from Nottm helps  i know its not million miles away but each game take 1hr 30mins each way and when you havent got the buzz its a pain,

Anyone else feeling like this?

We had spoken contract terms with Chris Hughton and everything just not signed anything, near enough had given him the job and before Roy Hodgson even said he was interested in the job at the last minute, and with Hodgson being first choice we dropped all that and did everything to do to get Wroy in which we did

Makes you wonder what we would of got out of first 2 games fi Wroy hadnt have come in.
Would we have looked so good at defending the throw ins etc
Would we have had the spirit to get to late goals
