West Bromwich Albion FC / A day in the life
« on: November 02, 2020, 12:52:38 PM »
I've often wondered what a day in the life of an Albion player is like on the morning or day of a game consists of.
If we are at home or away.
Just wondering

Glad this cowardly scumbag got 55 years in prison.
Of course he should get life means life.
The decision left me with a few questions namely why can a criminal murderer have the right to refuse to attend the court ( forget TV link) to hear face to face with the judge ,relatives and a jury.
No matter what the answer I think it should not be .

I know it’s a little perverse to think this but...
I am fed up with Premier league this and that ,is it proper football as we know it?
I would be quite happy if we get promoted ,get the money then go back down into the real football world then go back up again and so on.

Anybody else fed up watching football behind closed doors?
Its uninteresting and soulless without the crowds.
And the drone of the false croud turns me off completely I want this season to end asap its so boring I only watch a few minutes and that's enough, even radio commentaries are pathetic.
End it now with us promoted and villa relegated with their manager sacked.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Is 5 more wins enough?

Will 15 more points get us promotion?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Positional namrs

Just read an article about the Japanese system.
As we all know they've had bullet trains and a high speed train system for years now.
Their next step which is almost ready is a maglev system is no rail its a sort of central rail magnetised floating structure where the unit can get up to approx 500 mph.
Why don't we adopt the system and get us back into the forefront of a quality fast railway.
It should be coast to coast west to east and south to north with hs2 type trains off.

Just watched his documentary on the BBC, what an up and down life,it seems mainly down.
Did you see the part when he was really hitting the bottle with his Albion scarf round his neck?
He's brought happiness and enjoyment to millions ,I for one hope he's happy now.

West Bromwich Albion FC / 100 years ago
« on: August 27, 2019, 06:46:46 PM »
I've just noticed that it is a century since we won the first division, season 1919 - 1920.
The only time we've won the top division.
One year after the end of the great war.
Makes you think doesn't it.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Ball boys
« on: February 16, 2019, 02:54:52 PM »
I forgot to mention this the other night against forest, where were the ball boys?
Many times when the ball went out the players from Albion were waiting for the crowd to throw it back?
What's up?

Here's a topical one for the geeks among us.
How many Albion players have pulled their balls out of the bag?
Talking about the FA cup draw of course.
Ho would you find that out?
Anyway the question is out there now.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Points targets
« on: August 20, 2018, 12:11:21 PM »
What points targets must we get to by quarter, half, three quarters and end of season.
I don't know how many points wolves got and the runners up got to get promotion just interested to look after say 12 matches etc.
I know its not very scientific but.
I'm hoping for first or second no playoffs.
Just need that right back and were ready.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Team age
« on: July 24, 2018, 09:17:44 AM »
Just wondering, that Dave has been trying to reduce the squad age from one of the oldest ( I know in the prem ) ,which was necessary, what our average team age could be in the championship, one of the youngest?

General Football & Sports / Religion in football
« on: June 24, 2018, 04:53:23 PM »
I wonder what you guys think about it.
What I'm talking about is how often players seem to be crossing themselves, praying etc.
Some do it coming onto the field, after scoring or after the game.
Surely this can be done in private.
I'm not keen on seeing it myself.
Keep religion and politics out of football.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Motty

Just watching the show on BBC2 noticed him and his son talking in I assume his bar at home, hanging on the wall  is a framed green and yellow baggies shirt, top man.

West Bromwich Albion FC / New kit
« on: April 14, 2018, 11:22:58 PM »
Have I missed it?
Didn't someone mention were having a new kitmaker for next season and the new kit would be out soon or was I dreaming?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Motty's final commentary
« on: March 13, 2018, 04:19:38 PM »
Just saying, its the great man's final game.
Crystal Palace v WBA.
Could be exciting or boring.
We could both be down by then. Or one of us going down or both fighting to stay up. Or both staying up by then oh I don't know.
Will Pardew be boo'd off the pitch by both sets of fans or what?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Do we have to sell?
« on: February 26, 2018, 08:38:33 PM »
If we are relegated,do we have to sell any of our squad?
Regardless of what we think of them at the moment, even if they want a transfer, can we say no you will stay here and get us bank up into the premier league.

West Bromwich Albion FC / This seasons players club fines
« on: February 20, 2018, 06:45:49 PM »
Hey guys,I've just seen that the auction for Cyrilles' shirts reached £11k for charity,I am unsure which charity exactly but hopefully the ones that Cyrille and his nominated.
Wouldn't it be a great gesture if our club gave the cab4 wages fines to his charities, in fact any player fines this season.
This gesture would begin to rebuild my faith in the club I have supported for the past 56 years.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Media pundits/luvies
« on: January 30, 2018, 06:55:44 PM »
Hey guys,on such a sad day.
Why are ian wright and Alan shearer both saying that Sturridge has made a big mistake by going to WBA instead of Newcastle.
How dare they say that ,they think that the toon is a bigger club than ours.
Why would he go to a club who have won virtually nothing and who are always in turmoil?
WBA is a club that is not in turmoil we have people who are calm and not panicking even in the league position we are currently in.
A family club he's come home he needed to ,don't these pundits get it?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Book of remembrance for Cyrille.
« on: January 16, 2018, 10:27:34 AM »
Have the club arranged a book of remembrance for the dance to write their thoughts and feelings in?
If not why not.
Asap please, very important part of remembering for all concerned.

Listened to talk carp on Jim White this morning and as usual trash talk.
But I couldn't believe what Micky the scouser Geordie said.
They were chatting about Sunderland and he said that Sunderland was bigger than both WBA &WHU.
who pays these jokers?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Our fading colours
