Logical but why would you risk what is being very successful?

No. Ferguson will never attack as well as Furlong/Gibbs and having him at Lab actually enables us to utilise Phillips slightly more central and Furlong to be an extra wonger

Just can't help yourself can you? Absolutely no reason to come on here and criticise one of our players when the whole team played so well. Adds nothing intelligent to the discussion. Just petty.

Bang on. Ridiculous comment.

Best central midfielder we’ve had in nearly a decade. Oozes quality

A class act.

Genuine quality in dangerous areas

Was at the game today but when I saw comments on here blaming him for the goals I was shocked. So I watched goals on sky and am still shocked. How was he meant to save either of the goals?

Some people need a scapegoat mate.

Absolutely ridiculous comments from some both on here and in the stadium.

Goal 1; Blame Furlong for missing the 50/50. Blame Sawyers for not sticking with his man. Maybe even blame Austin for giving away the goal kick which it came from. But god how can anyone blame Sam?

Goal 2; only one person to blame and that’s Bartley. Or you could maybe blame Boiler Man.

Can we bring up the ball boys/girls at the next one?

Absolutely shambolic at times. The 2 girls sat in the corner of the Brummie today sat there whilst the whole stand screamed at them to get the ball when we equalised summer it up.

Far too many teenagers given the role and they simply can’t be arsed to do the job asked of them.

Get 15-20 7 or 8 year olds and get them dotted around the pitch, they’ll actually get the ball!

Might be wrong of me to bring this up, but 9 of our starting XI today are black/mixed race.

Don’t hear Durham claiming us to be racist now do we. Ridiculous statement

What a brilliant piece of imagery. Just thought it deserved a little acknowledgement.

I wonder if you can purchase this from anywhere?

Whilst yes the second was awful, Livermore should not be excused from that debacle. His “marking” was woeful and allowed the lad a free header at the back post. Whilst this didn’t lead to the goal, we should not overlook it.

Other than yesterday though I’m struggling to find a goal directly caused by Johnstone?

De Gea has one clean sheet in 20, does that make him terrible?

Football is no longer about clean sheet, look around the leagues and you’ll see that.

This lad takes far too much stick and it’s absokutely ridiculous. Just because folk don’t like him playing short (although his distribution is very good) and his name isn’t Ben Foster.

I don’t see anyone moaning at how good his pass was to Furlong for our second yesterday.

Yes his error for the second goal, and that was poor; but he must seriously hate playing at our place due to some of the Albion lot he has behind him.

Not really a Legend is he though? Not like fans will be looking back in 50 years and reminiscing about the times we yo-yo'd out of the Championship and failed to win any decent cups or anything whilst he was around. He hasn't even been universally liked by most/all fans. Not exactly Steven Gerrard pretty much single handedly winning your team the Champions League.

Feel free to call him a club legend if you like, but I can assure you that he is not.

So by your theory we haven’t had a legend since Astle? I think not

I'd say anyone who has kept a shirt of ours for 25 years is unlikely to sell for anything less than £50 but good luck in your search.

I meant if anybody had one of the copies lol, i wasnt expecting one of the originals lol!

I’ve found them online for £50 but hoping someone has one in CL they don’t want lol.

We should have it next season as our shirt!

Super result, strong performance on the whole.

We must have the best crop of kids in the country right now, including the lads who’ve left us over the last few seasons we keep producing very strong performers.

Sawyers, what a player. Just what our midfield needed and if he stays fit and sharp then we easily make the playoffs.

Zohore surprised me, better player than I thought just not sure about his goal return.

Some optimism reinstalled, cmon Albion!

Why would any club with a yellow/green or puple kit need both? £££'s....

Exactly the signing we need and exactly the player we needed so desperately last season.

A class act in this league.

A bit of “Pogba” style to him though, could be deemed lazy in the games we don’t win but superb when he’s on form.

21
Im in Kidderminster, but certainly would be up for that!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Salomon Rondon
« on: March 16, 2019, 11:31:46 PM »

Hopefully that somehow lapses, easily worth £25-30 million.

Easily.

Benteke, Jimenez, Dack etc all valued much higher. Rondon better than all.

23
But he’s not in this league so it’s purely hypothetical
Rondon has scored 10 goals this season. Last season he scored 10 for us, season before 10, season before 12 so it’s a bit of a myth that he’s doing loads better at Newcastle

He’s not doing “better”, he’s doing exactly the same which is he a nuisance, be the big man, but bangs in his fair share in a defensive side.

I still don’t know why Spurs don’t have him as back up to Kane.

Always liked him, always will. Very good player.

24
Anybody still want him over Rondon?

Only one winner for me I’m afraid.
