I beg to differ he as been given a chance but as never taken it as I said in a previous post Darren Moore is the third head coach who won't play him
darren moore only interested in playing his mates, the same players that didnt turn up last season and are doing the same again..he is out of his depth i hope we have dean smith on speed dial and take captain marvel with him, the most over rated footballer in the last 10yrs

Not bad. We looked timid at times but also tempting at times. I liked the spells of buccaneering from the flanks. Too bad we couldn't gather the 3 points we deserved.
haha you are having a laugh

Beginning to despise Brunt, not really his fault I suppose being played there, but my god he is awful!
fully agree Darren Moore has to take full responsability keep playing him, he is truly awful in cm..hes not a leader at all he hides away or throws his arms around the blokes past it

The fans will turn against Jenkins and lai.

I don't think the fans will turn against Moore at all. 90% of our fan base can see it's not
His fault
keep picking players that are not performing is his fault cant keep blaming jenkins and lai, he coaches the players he picks the team, worse defensive performances for years and cm shocking that is down to DM but lets blame jenkins.nobody knows who Darren Moore wanted and didnt want he might have made all decisions but just a puppet

Hope to see this invested into a new central midfielder (the right side of 26) with the ability to improve us.
the cm darlings of livermore and brunt are going no where and neither will we be...we have defiently found our level in transfer market and manager

Brunt being hung out to dry by big dave. He's not going to be comfy in a 2 Man midfield. Between him and Livermore for me there isn't much in it. One of them needs dropping. Livermore more like a rugby centre than a central midfielder. Brunt needs to be on the left whipping in crosses.
the problem playing brunt left wing you would habe to change formation etc just to fit him in..i think albion fans need to realise he doesnt fit in our system now he really does seem to have gone downwards quickly and to make him captain is a joke

I don't get the love in with Field.
He has looked promising at times, but honestly, if he played for anyone else, how many would advocate signing him?
keep saying it about the academy aswell so over rated to be honest, the best that has come through is sawyers roofe etc all average players, even players that have left to chelsea and liverpool havent done anything afterwards.we are not a club that brings players through sooner or later kids will realise this and not bother

Chairman and board have let him down. Hope people see this and turn on board if things don't go well and not moore
how do you know..Darren Moore may be happy with whats he got and only wants back up players as thats all we seem to be after, if Darren Moore fails theres only 1 person to blame and after 2 games hes not doing himself any favours

mad how people still putting fans favourite brunt in, he cant and shouldnt be playing cm, slow old and to busy swinging his arms about and one reson why we will lose so many midfield battles this season...but he is loyal cause in 10 years nobody has put a bid in thats how good he is

I thought that quote was very interesting. However worrying Moore's experience as manager may be, his views on the personalities and people that he wants to bring into the club are fantastic and exactly how it should be.
respect for taxi drivers aswell? oh no they still play for us so not always about pardew etc but easy to jump on pardew and pulis

I look forward to watching some truly awful players show up his lack of defensive ability and positioning in the role, but at least he will be there to put some decent corners in.
i am not alone thank god haha...bench warmer at best now, shocking at cm and that will be our biggest problem no creativity or pace in that role

Good move by the club. Getting a better player in without splashing cash. Means we have money to spend elsewhere on the squad. spending lots of money is not a guarantee for success. Just look back 12 months and remember!!! We blew sh*t loads last summer, even to the point we needed an overdraft to get through the season, and where exactly did it get us. I have no problem signing a league 2 player, IF he improves our squad.
its all bout profit now sell players snd pocket the money. yeah lets look back 12 months and the same rubbish players that got us relegated but all of a sudden they are world beaters again becsuse of a 6 game season snd people are desperate to keep.until players like nyom, brunt, barry and kanu are out the team we may aswell enjoy life back as a mid table club cause that is what we are

4-5-1 formation seems very negative.
was obvious Darren Moore would set up like this having worked under pulis and megson so no suprise

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Assistant Head Coach

Have to say i know nothing about the man, a quick google seems to suggest he has been Roberto Martinez assistant since back in the wigan days.
As Martinez sides (wigan / Everton / Swansea / Belgium) have  played "decent" football it suggests we could be moving away from Pulisball (thank the lord!!!)

The guy has got good experience and playing career (see below) was at the lower pro levels so he should be grounded in his attitudes. Doesn't seem to be a lot to be critical of. Although I'm sure some on here will find something to bitch about.

Hope we get this sewn up and DM and GJ can start moulding a dynamic / youthful team.
you still have to have the players to play decent football, and we havent got that with the cm players we have. we will never play that type of football with barry, livermore and brunt in there

happy mcclean has gone but lets wait and see who we replace him with before getting excited

I know its only pre season but what i saw on Friday night was depressing, no poke whatsoever. 2 weeks to go before the start. i will take mid table now
on paper we dont look to bad but midfield an attacking options is pretty poor, really cant see where the goals will come from in midfield as hardly any creativity or pace.. alot of games will be like watching megson team and hoping for a 1-0 win but alot of championship teams are set up to score goals i think we will be found wanting, cant see anything else apart from mid table then questions will need to be asked about certain roles
