I was a mused by Dean Smith saying that the Man U player tripped himself up to get the penalnty. POT AND BLACK. Grealish goes down if a puff of wind touches him.

I thought I has us to draw but I am informed I had pressed the one for an Albion win. In the words of Capt Mainwaring, "You stupid boy."

I thought Klopp's behavior was very childish all over not being given a foul. He looked demented and should have been dismissed for his unsporting behaviour.

A very Happy Christmas to all our faithful supporters. My God we deserve some good fortune in 1921.

I don't think marking Grealish is on, I just hope the ref keeps an eye on hist nasty tricks.

Allardyce has done a good job keeping teams in the division so he must have some value. Give the bloke a chance as is usual everyone has the knife sharpened before a ball is kicked.

Last year I looked up the number of deaths in certain towns and I was astounded at the high figures. not comparing them with covid outbreak but bigger than I ever imagined.

Baseball has one thing cricket doesn't have and that is "big hitters" The baseball travels much further than the cricket ball and the bats are narrower. I am a committed cricket lover but love baseball.

Smethdan i would think the "in goal" area is considered to be part of the playing area.

I heard on the radio that some think Grealish could be a "NEW GAZZER."  As they say round here I had to loff.
A former top ref said of Grealish, "he goes down too easily" Maybe all the refs will read this.

At last a ref who has not been kidded by Grealish. At one point the ref told him to"get on with it. A good player who does try it on but must have spent a lot of time practicing drawing fouls. I know he gets fouled a lot but he is good at diving.

I am fed up with watching Premier league matches and prefer Championship football. This football seems real whereas the Prem seems so artificial. I have a saying that sums it up-DON'T MAKE ONE PASS IF 20 WILL DO. I know they have to face a solid defensive wall, but I usually switch after about 30 minutes. I have been watching WBA since around 1949 and i would sooner be back in the Championship

I thought we started the game well and looked up for a win. Fulham did not get a touch in the opening minutes. Then it all collapsed.

Well it's a change from slagging off our keeper and most of our players. Moss is not a terrible ref at all.He is well regarded by many. All those who moan I will ask you a question. HOW MANY MATCHES HAVE YOU REFEREED?

« on: October 18, 2020, 09:00:43 AM »
What a tame "Old  Firm" match. Well behaved players that only saw a "card" in the 2nd half.
My one observation was the appearance of the players who all had short hair. Such a change from the rubbish we see in England.

The "hand ball" law used to read something like "propelling ball with hand or arm." BALL TO HAND OR HAND TO BALL" SIMPLE! Now they have caused confusion everywhere. I just wonder how many of these experts have ever refereed a match.

« on: September 27, 2020, 06:21:27 PM »
It's amazing. The law used to be "hand ball" now it is invariably "arm ball." When a player wants to gain height he needs his arms. The "Powers that be" need to get some of the retired refs and get a discussion on how the Law is to be used. As I have stated in an earlier post it used to be "hand to ball" and not "ball to hand"

The England players all played with their socks in the proper way, but Grealish hadn't been on the pitch too long before he had his halfway down his legs. Surely if all the other players wear theirs in the proper manner surely so should that ignorant clown,

Gareth Bale  does not appear to have learned the local language and this is one of his major doesn't sit well with the other players. He is not a social animal which is resented. Maybe he should get them to learn Welsh!

Here we go. Always finding fault with our footballers, now a switch to our cricketers. Archer made a mistake but surely nothing as bad as some others. Stokes for instance, Rightly we forgave him,and we must do the same for Archer. Some idiot was suggesting his ability was nothing. Please don't make a fool of yourself.

How many of the usual writers who do nothing but moan have had any real experience of playing or even
referreeing? They must lead a most miserable life and use this forum to constantly annoy most reasonably minded writers.

I think we should raise a glass to Stoke for their excellent display of defending against Brentford. They threw their bodies on the line to hold out a team who everyone thought was invincable. GOOD ON YOU.

I cannot believe members are so stupidly critical of the Wolves. If we played them at the moment we would be beaten hands down. Some of you must be writing with"tongue in cheek" because I envy what Wolves are doing and could not criticise anything about their play.
