I don't think Swansea will keep up the same form as this season next year, purely due to the extra fixtures inherited from being in Europe.

Hopefully we can loan Lukaku again, but we need to kick on and try other options too, rather than wait until he might be available.

What I don’t like about Albion fans is the tendency to slip into sanctimonious whinging.

I don't think a Villa fan can describe anybody as being sanctimonious.

Then we will kick on and start to head up to somewhere like where we should be.

This in a nut shell is what I dislike about an attitude seen throughout Villa's support. Believing they have a god given right to finish high in the league.

I would just ignore McSkittle if I were you. His absence from this board says it all.

Villa have a big summer ahead of them, as do we. They will be losing out on Benteke, and without him, I can see them struggling again.

I think Villa fans would be naive to believe that their problems are over now that they have survived.

Can see him being upset at the final home game, he can't be the centre of attention.

How do you know he wont be here next season ?
If Jeremy Peace cant get the price he wants then I can see him been made to see out the last year
of his contract.

I don't know, you don't know. But it looks much more than likely he will leave in the summer.

If he does I hope Scharner gives him a slap on both of his faces.

Quite the contrary, Pete and Paul are friends.

I personally wouldn't like to see him play for us again, simply on a moral level. The bloke won't be here next season, I think we can achieve our goals in the last four games without him, and would rather do it that way.

Odemwingie travelling with the squad. I personally can't see any benefit in playing him now, especially after witnessing first hand the backlash at Upton Park.

Suarez was stupid but Ivanovic deserved a card earlier in the game. Just saw him last night with FC Basel and the guy is a jerk. He thinks it's cool to shove people. He picked the wrong guy to eff with in Suarez.

Your effort to defend Suarez is admiral, even if your argument is substantially flawed. Because he 'shoved' Suarez, it gives Suarez the right to bite him? You say it's a 'wuss bite', but call Ivanovich a 'jerk' for shoving in the box (which happens dozens of times a football match). Quite contradicting statements there.

I wonder if the same calls for a 20-game ban would come if Suarez were English. Doubt it!

Please. If this was John Terry, who has previous as well, I'm sure the majority would feel exactly the same.

You are sounding a lot like Liverpool fans, rather than ousting Suarez as a racist, cheating stain upon the game, you are protecting him, and defending him to the death.

My Dad has always said Regis vs Man City in 1978. Has anyone seen any video footage of this goal on youtube? Would love to see it.

Suarez is an odious little man. Racist, cheating, biting people...

I'm surprised people stand up for him, I was hoping he would be banned for longer, perhaps then he'll start acting like an adult.

Woeful so far, I don't mind losing if we show some effort, it looks like the players couldn't give a monkeys.

Personally, I don't think we press teams very well. The amount of time we back off advancing players, for me is a weakness.

I understand that we play on the counter attack, but I feel for a huge amount of time in games we are pressed very far back into our own half, which is detrimental.

That practically relegates QPR, very happy with that.

Can't wait to see Redknapp's post match interview ;D

I thought he was a bit soft on some of their players, I think Rosicky should've been yellowed earlier.

Wasn't Webb's best performance today. Regarding the penalty - I think it could've been given, but we made it difficult for ourselves by missing every chance in open play.

Can only blame ourselves, we had chances to get a result.

Poor performance from Brunt, albeit playing out of position, I really think this highlights our need for a natural backup DM player next season.

Good performances from Billy Jones and James Morrison, good to have Mozza back.

Also a note on the opposition - once you get passed the good football, they really were a very dirty team today, as seen in our fixture with them earlier in the season.

I will never again let me be persuaded that Brunt is wothy of his position in a premiership side - woefull :(

No matter how woeful he's been today, he's being played completely out of position. Says more about our strength in the DM role we have.

We need a natural backup defensive mid for next season.
