With my business head on I can see versions of this artwork potentially hitting the club shop in time for Christmas :o #cynic
Hope you are right, I will be in the queue for one, I love it!

I hate to say it but i like giving it a listen, Charlie Austin is a guest on his latest one though i don't think it's uploaded just yet. I just find that he's a guy that speaks a lot more truth.
He's probably blocked half of us from listening to that too!!  ;D

24k for a table, some chairs, and a lonely room with a sterile corporate atmosphere? Give me the BRE any day  :D
With my business head on 24k is nothing, that allows you to take 9-10 customers to 23 games, get them p#ssed and get some business out of them, could end up a very profitable decision and 24k well spent!!

Its nice but i'm a bit disappointed that there isn't an advert for Sadler's Peaky Blinder Lager anywhere in there though, I dont think we advertise that enough!  ;)

PS - Picture is ace and they definitely need to put prints of that in the club shop, if not they are missing a trick!!

During the time I have Bern going I would put my top 3 as:

Foster
Hoult
Naylor
Naylor was a good shot stopper, but he was a vampire (scared of crosses) and rarely came off his line!

I was quite fond of the 'Beast' Brian Jensen but he wasn't great was he!  ;D

Best, hard pushed to decide between Ossy / Hoult / Foster
Worst = Mark Grew
Paul Crichton surely??

Berahino 2 in 2 games in Belgium, point to prove? or found his level?

Played in it twice this season and won both matches, they can wear it at home for me!!  ;D ;D

I am genuinely gobsmacked that there is a thread where some people are 'moaning' or expressing disgust at us wearing an away kit for an away match, am I missing something here??

Yet Austin had medical more recently and seemingly done ....... 99%. Yesterday Austin wasn't even mentioned.

Why nothing since on Perreira?
We are about to announce another one now, it may be him, lets see...... (drum roll)

Getting concerned now re this signing. I'd have expected some sort of news by now but gone deathly silent, no news of talks, medical, player travelling, nothing.

Have a feeling this isn't going to happen.
Where you looking?? Landed at Heathrow last night and had medical down London this morning, all done and dusted (depending on what source you read)

Interesting to read it was a loan deal he turned down with us earlier in the Summer, wanted a bit of security, cant blame him!

Been offered a contract at Belgium club Zulte Waregem according to Talksport, he was on trial there last month

I just said on Twitter, im now convincing myself it is better to go for Gayle in January as he hasnt even kicked a ball since the Villa game due to injury so he is way behind on fitness, if he is fit in that time and not being used by Newcastle snap him up in January to boost us for the second and most important half of the season!

Simon Jordan just been on calling him and i quote 'a toxic runt'

seems everyone is laying into him today.
Runt? Is that cockney rhyming slang for what he actually is??

15
Lads, 5 and a half hours left.

Safe to say he's staying ay Newcastle
Safe to say he is in on his own to get fit as hes missed all of pre-season, if he was planning on coming he would have stayed at home in Streetly and sorted things out!!

On the verge of a loan to charlton
Hope this one works for him, particularly his end product as he is absolute garbage for us!

I understand that but that was days ago. There are 1,440 minutes in a day. How long does it take? The site is going to lose members if this carries on. A lot of people love westbrom.com but patience doesn't last forever. Albion is a community, this site is very much part of it. Transfer deadline coming up and site down YET AGAIN! Not good.
Understandable criticism if you were paying to post on the forum, bit harsh considering its 100% free to all users though......

My heart sank when I saw this subject pop up!!!! Thank god it wasn't a link with us again!!!

20
Leeds local journo saying there is no chance Gayle is signing for them, maybe just maybe there is a chance......

21
Get Andy Carroll in as well and go proper little and large combo...... 8)

22
This news coming out today about Gayle possibly coming back is great, but I’m not sure how I’d feel if re-signing him on loan would prevent us possibly signing a goal scorer permanently
Are you mad? Id take him on loan again, effectively he has then signed for us 'permanently' for 2 years costing us just a loan fee each time and wages. I would LOVE him to come back, imagine the chances Sawyers, Gibbs, Phillips, etc will put on for him this season, he is the one ingredient for me......

« on: July 29, 2019, 08:55:00 AM »
New kit to be released this week/ weekend, kits have been added to the tills in the club shop already. Away kit is green/ yellow with yellow shorts and 3rd kit is purple by all accounts! Not ITK but step-daughter works in the club shop so pretty solid  ;D
3 months on but I was right all along, does that now make me officially ITK?? Can I now make up transfer rumours??  ;D ;D

I don't dismiss the importance of a high pass completion rate, but according to the stats. he failed to score even once last season in 46 games.
I think we are going to have a goalscoring problem, as things stand.
I think the last 3 words of your post needs to be taken into consideration, we have 5 loans available still and only really spent the Rondon money, should still be enough left in the bank to get a goalscorer, I still think the Charlie Austin deal has legs in it but we will see......

As you said you never saw DS. he was a marvellous athlete for his stature and got forward regularly delivering telling crosses, He was not a wing back but a VERY VERY good full back
My point was I believe KG has it all and is better than anyone I have seen at LB/FB for us, unfortunately I cannot compare to DS as I never saw him play but others who have still rave about him so he obviously had it all, not that I actually was comparing.....
