What about being fair to every team and fans whichever league.
1) Delay season, restart when epidemic has passed then play 2 games a week until the schedules have been completed.

2) Start the following season late with a gap of two weeks between end of previous season and next. Play two games per week until caught up.

3) Transfer window to start at the end of the previous season and end after 6 weeks

4) All contract terminations automatically extended until the seasons schedule has been completed

This means normal promotion and relegation will occur without any preferences and will be based on how the teams perform even though the poor underpaid  players may have to play two games a week for a relatively short time.

5) Cancel the European cup to the following year allowing all ticket holders to get their moneys worth

Jacko & Dexy please don't waste your time and effort in defending Brunt, yes he has been a good servant but you have to acknowledge he is now past his sell by date and should be binned accordingly :D

Apart from Brunt & Barry giving the second goal away and out "saviour" goalkeeper dropping the ball to give Newcastle a 3 goal lead, thereafter we created enough chances to have got a draw at least.

Kyle Edwards is at least direct even if he loses the ball occasionally and Krov changed the games dynamics when he came on

Disappointed with the team we put out but not with the fight back in the second half.

No surprise that you’ve blown a gasket with Livermore being praised. Post your own ratings if you disagree rather than just taking a pop.

In all honesty, we were better than your scores by about 15% :-*

My preference would be Brunt but I expect Barry to get the nod.

No surprise there, face it Brunt is finished, time for up and coming

It's not good enough to have a CD who only plays well one in four and the team can always rely on him is always to make a mistake.

My opinion has not changed greatly from 2 seasons ago when he first played against Barnsley in a pre season friendly and did not head a ball all game

He looked a poor acquisition then and apart from the occasional good performance has not improved :o

Don't we have to be promoted first, I been a Baggies supporter for a very long time, you should never take us for granted as we always disappoint and surprise ::)

Can Townsend pass a football?

How many times has he given it away so far?

You just don't like him, do you :o

in his last two games he has shown signs that he can mix it as he now chases down the perpetrators of perceived fouls on him, so perhaps he is getting to grips with the physicality of our league

Waiting for news that this ungreatfull kid, his greedy family and manipulative agent have got the deal and we won’t have to see his half hearted performances again

Really pleased he has gone, takes away uncertainty from the squad, adds to our coffers for much needed team strengthening. His agent played it well but at least we have got a fee.

As for Ferguson,  will he be better off careerwise  with Roy? :D

Just to remind everybody that Bartley is a very poor defender and not a footballer despite a few good performances. He is a mistake waiting to happen and does not seem to be able to partner any other central defender in our squad.

Still a poor header of a ball, a primary requisite of a central defender :o

Edwards is the most one footed player I've seen at the Albion for sometime. I'd probably look to try the young lad from Arsenal at least once over the festive period.

And Brunt isn't? :(

Did you hear Billic say he brought on Austin to make City play even narrower to enable us to get the ball wide and behind the defence. It was  clear this tactical move led to our 3rd goal. Tells you all you need to know about the manager.

Yes you can play to a system but the coach has to have the tactical awareness in real time games to make game changing changes

Did you go the game?

Yes and you are totally wrong, we should have lost 4:1 except for Johnstones goal saving performance.

I suppose Brunt in goal would have suited you ;)

Looks unfit and ponderous, we cannot play him as a lone front man, no doubt he has qualiites and ability to score goals, but pace and first touch are not them :(

Agree with this in full. He is getting bad advice from a To**er of an agent who does not have the player's best interests at heart. He is a great prospect but watching him closely, still has things to learn as you would expect at 19. What better place to carry on that education than at the club that has developed him and given him his opportunity, and is also offering to pay him very fairly indeed.

His agent clearly did not see his performance last night, otherwise he would advise Nathan to snatch our hand off with the current offer, because as yet with relatively few games in the first team Nathan has to prove consistency, his last two performances ask some questions

We really didn’t turn up our attitude was one of expecting to win without trying and boy didn’t we not try

Generally sloppy play particularly in midfield and at the back only Livermore showed any effort and Kroc was tidy and kept the ball best but there was little movement up front to enable any attacking passes. Did Phillips play if so he contributed nothing

Edwards has pace and as said before rushes opportunities, except for the goal by Austin we never created a chance but he did put in some effort
Until  Robson-Kanu came on and provided  a target and someone to hold the ball and bring others into play we created very little

Make no mistake this was a dismal evening with our goalkeeper providing the best performance with 3 maybe 4 excellent savers

Probably Bartleys biggest critic, however, i have to admot in the last few games he has become a reliable stopper, yet to be convinced he is a footballer :-\

Played Leeds off the park second half - if only we would be prepared to shoot and take responsibility or we had  striker we would win this game and the league 8)
