Leave it as it is no need to change anything.
Johnstone
Adarabioyo Dawson Hegazi Gibbs
Phillips Livermore Morrison
Robson-Kanu Rodriguez Barnes
Subs: Myhill, Bartley, Brunt, Mears, Barry, Gayle, Field.
I'd keep the same team but change Barry or Brunt for Sako on the bench, otherwise we only have Gayle to change things from an attacking perspective.
If Gayle is fit, Gayle plays for me. HRK has had far more awful performances than good ones for us, let’s not just forget that on the back of one exceptional game
Surely though Gayle would be through the middle whereas HRK was being played more as the right sided player in the front 3, although the 3 were pretty fluid so maybe it's not hugely important where they line up.Yeah, if Gayle comes in, it has to be Rodriguez, which I would advocate if fit. Would be harsh on Rodriguez as he had a decent game Saturday, but he's had far more poor ones and I know who I'd back in a one on one every day of the week. We will likely create less chances away so have to be clinical.
Personally I'd start with the same line up as the Leeds game; I think they've earned it.
I hope he doesn't bring Brunt back...but I think he will. :(Can't see how he can in a 433 and to revert to 352 would be madness.

Indeed. But, dressing room influence and club captain etc....
You shouldn’t change a winning team. The team that beat Leeds earns the right to go again.
I agree. But will Darren?
I think we may well see Gayle back in for HRK and possibly Barry in for Morrison, he may also bring Bartley in as centre half.
I agree. But will Darren?he has most of the season.
HRK did a fairly good holdup job against Leeds but the long balls went out to him on the wing where they had relatively short full backs.
However, you can't change a winning side I think it must be 4-3-3 with last week's line-up.
It's the subbing where the smart tactics lie. I would swap Hoolahan for Morrison if the latter tires (sort of like for like?) and Gayle for whoever isn't performing at 55-60 minutes.
after reading the mail i don't think Brunt of Bartley will be involved.
These guys are bottom of the league. Surely we should trounce this lot!See Hull 3/11/18 :), in fairness no game is a roll over plus they have a new manager.
Nice to go into this game with a little optimism after the last displayWell I am going to Ipswich, largely on the strength of the last display, but after reading Graeme Jones in the Express & Star tonight I despair.

He doesnt mention he will go back to how it was against the likes of wigan or hull either...

Off we go again, win and we're second for at least 24 hours, lose and we'll be out of the top six by Sat at 4.50.It's great ay it mi mon ?
Potential banana skin here , Lambert has put a bit of bounce back into them .
Hope its not that awful 3 at the back , nothing daft Tonight .
Steady , win the midfield and pick them off.
Pity this is on a Friday - no chance of getting time off from work unfortunately.
Wonder how many we will take ?
Over a 1000 they’ve said good effort by every single one.
Gayle on the bench?????? What the hell is wrong with DM and GJ? Are they on drugs or something? How do you leave the best striker in the league by a long way on the bench? Aam i missing something or should Gayle not be an automatic choice when fit? I'm assuming he is fit as he's had lots of time to get over his recent injury and scored a superb goal when he came on aganst Leeds.

I think the one thing Kanu did well was holding the ball up which is his one strength over Gayle.

Good move & finnish Jrod
Gayle not a winger.
Rodriguez has to score there.
I'd be a little more happy with another goal or two.
We all know we don't do clean sheets
Adarbayio looking good
Finally a decent composed head who can pass the ball out
They look up for it...We have to get a grip.
Incidentally why no sako or Burke in the squad.
Crying out for a bit of pace from the bench
We look lethargic in this half.
Barnes has been really poor tonight
Jimmy Mozza is very quietly running this game for Albion. Been superb again.
Barnes has been really poor tonight
time for fresh legs Darren
Just read the stat that we’ve scored more than anyone in the last 15 minutes and Barnes duly enhanced that figure in the 77th minuteCommentary just stated that we score more in the last 15 mins then anyone. And bang 1 minute later goal😝
That late Kayden Jackson goal means we have still only kept one clean sheet in the league this season - compared to Middlesbrough's 11.

Crazy if you can't see Morrison pulling the strings in midfield last 2 games, under radar but in total control .
Agree entirely for the Leeds game...but not tonight, he was anonymous. It’s a Morrison trait of a number of years, one outstanding game followed by a few stinkers. Would still much prefer him in there to Brunt so no complaints hereCompletely disagree with you on Morrison. I don't think its any coincidence that we have steadied up significantly and have had a lot more control in the middle since he's started starting games.

With him around, there's much less gaps whereas when Brunt started he left gaping holes.
He did a lot of the simple basic linking play tonight, easily goes unnoticed, but making himself available, short little passes to keep attacks moving forward. If he stays fit, he's going to be a huge player for us this season.

The coincidence may come in the complete change of system as opposed to anything else...This. We look a much better team.

One day DB you might say something positive about us....As I have said said before....I am a hard task master.
A good 1st half and not so good 2nd half. Thought the ref was an absolute clown. Should of had a penalty and a few more of their players into the book for cynical fouls. Spoke to an Ipswich fan on the train home and he said the only reason they had 22,000 odd there was because of the tickets being a tenner. thought their support was very poor.
13 shots 3 on target If we had made it 3-0 or 4-0 then when they when they scored we wouldn't have timewasted or panicked. But because we had only scored 2 we panicked. Just stick in the corner. But a win is a win although our discipline is awful. Yellow cards galore. Livermore close to being banned again
I don't think he is, the 2nd booking he got at Wigan was his 5th yellow of the season but it also meant a red card so it was a one match ban either way.
Since returning from his ban he has 1 yellow (against Leeds). I assume that having served the ban his slate was clean again otherwise the Leeds booking would have been counted as his 5th and resulted in a 1 match ban and he couldn't have played at Ipswich.
If you work through the FA Discipline/Suspension site linked below......
(Click onto 'One Caution Away', type in 'West Bromwich Albion' and click onto 'Championship')
http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/suspensions
...... it shows that both Livermore and Dawson are one booking away from suspension.
We play Swansea this Wednesday (28th) and the booking amnesty kicks in on November 30th.
Keep their noses clean and they're fine, if not and they pick up yellow cards then both miss Brentford at home.
Thanks for that Dan.
I am a little puzzled though as Livermore was supposedly booked against Stoke,Bristol city, Sheff Wednesday, Wigan (2) and Leeds which is either 5 or 6 (depending on whether the second booking counts as a yellow and also a red or is just a red) so he should have served a 1 match ban against Ipswich.
