3 games in a week. Important to use our strength in depth.
I would play Phillip's if fit and start Edward's (don't want diangana to burn out)

Think we should change it up a little

                       Johnstone

Furlong.       Semi.       Bartley.    Fergie

                        Livermore
           Harper.                  Sawyers
Phillips.                                       Edwards

                        Austin

You then have
Pereira krovonovic,Diangana available if required
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

I wouldn't be messing about with the team. You can never take things for granted in football. Full strength team for me.

Completely agree.

I’d be very wary of making many changes. The most successful teams rarely do that - and I’m not sure players “burn out” when they’re winning. They can’t wait to get out there and keep their good form going. I’d be cautious about disrupting that rhythm.

But the coach is in the best position to judge - he knows his players, their fitness levels and their psychological make-up.

Also, what a great response it’s been to the defeat at Leeds. The measure of a team is how it bounces back, especially after a first loss in ages. Two straight wins, and seven of the first 12 games have been away from home.

And we’ve already played away to Leeds, Forest, QPR and Fulham - winning two, drawing one and very narrowly losing the other.

It’s been a fantastic start to the season.

Edwards for Krovinovic is the only change I would make. If Gibbs was fit then I’d give Ferguson a night off and play both attacking full backs given its Barnsley and we are home, but think Gibbs is out.

Even if Phillips is fit I’d still keep him on the bench and maybe start him Saturday.

I think its important we keep the winning formula going. I wouldnt make too many changes and if the game is a rubbish nil nil then we can bring on HRK on!

I wonder how they'll approach this...
While they're bottom at the moment and not been doing glamorously apart from their opening day win against Fulham, 4 of their last 6 games have been against the current top six and now they have us...

After almost holding out against Leeds and Forest, they did pretty well to come back against Derby, then Swansea this weekend and really should've won that game with the chances they had; so we may have to work pretty well yet to make sure it looks like a top v bottom clash :-X

So, basically, tonk them at home like Preston did :P

if we take this as an easy game we will catch a cold, they have a new manager and will be confident given the improved performance at the weekend, this is a real banana skin.

Is anybody Bristol based who would be travelling from Bristol and back to the game? I have no transport as I'm at college here. I would be more than happy to contribute fuel etc if I could share a lift.
Thank you!

Don't mess about with the team, this is a game we should win, but we have to take it seriously. Think back to Reading and Millwall, these teams come with a game plan and will catch us out if we are complacent.

I think I'd go with.

                                                  Johnstone

             Furlong                Bartley                          Hegazi              Ferguson

                                            Livermore                Sawyers

                Edwards                          Periera                          Diangana

                                                       Austin.

subs:  Bond, Townsend, Ajayi, O'Shea, Brunt, Krovinovic, HRK. If Phillips is fit I'd drop Edwards to the bench instead of O'Shea.
