When I watched the highlights I thought when Swift hit his over the bar early on from Fellows, I thought you were all a bit harsh on him and thought it was a difficult chance. But then Andy Johnson said he should have buried it so what do I know.

Definitely think BTA stuffed up, especially when he was one on one and through on goal.
I thought the keeper made an excellent save with the one on one.

I’ve had a few, but I’ve never seen such a ridiculous penalty given to us.

Interesting results tonight. 10 points from the 15 remaining will do us. This doesn't include fixtures where clubs play each other. Looking good though.

It does seem that whenever we do something good it’s “Corberan is a tactical genius, whose little clever little tweaks are responsible”. Likewise, when something goes wrong it’s “ah well, the players are absolutely terrible, Corberan is overachieving”

Personally, think he’s done about par for the squad we’ve got.

I know I’ll get pelters for this but unless we get promoted I personally wouldn’t be averse to the new owner bringing in his own man for next season.
The owner has openly admitted, that with any new venture that he is new to, he employs those that know what they’re doing. He has already openly backed Carlos. We really don’t need an owner making knee-jerk decisions. I don’t think our new owner does. Just look at the Blues.

I shall be there at BET365 Saturday and hope we put a strong team out and the performance is good in BOTH half’s.
It seems, being virtually guaranteed a play-off spot, players have taken their foot of the pedal in the last few games - maybe subconsciously saving themselves for the play-offs.
I don't think Carlos allows our players to 'take their foot off the gas' .

The Millwall player should get a ban for the push that led to his shoulder injury. It was completely unnecessary and could have led to a big injury.
Nobody on here mentioned it. I saw it straight away. Strange that!

Watched the highlights back, great goal but i felt he possibly could have done better for their 2nd i think it was, caught himself on the spin. Still the wonder strike probably cancelled it out
Swings and roundabouts.  :D

Just a thought, i couldnt make the game today, if Cedric had played would they have scored?
You’ll need access to a parallel universe. :D

Just watched the highlights a couple of times, looks to me like BTA's shot flicked the defenders arm and could have flown over otherwise?
Watching in real time, it was a thing of beauty.  ;D

Has he assisted a goal since he’s been here?
Have a look at that subtle touch to Okay against Huddersfield.

Don’t think the chairman will be too impressed. Subs should’ve been made at half time. I’ve got no data to back this up, but it feels like he always struggles against teams that play 3/5 at the back.
If you've listened to, or read any of our owners interviews, you'd realise that he doesn't need to understand everything in a business venture. He employs others to do that. Carlos knows his stuff. He'll leave substitutions to him, and not get involved. Most probably because he doesn't understand the reason for any footballing decision. That's a sensible dynamic.

We haven’t lost a game since BTA last played so it comes as no surprise for me, you can’t play with ten men
You we’re saying?

England players won't have their names on their shirts for tonight's game to create awareness about dementia. Who most relies on being reminded who's who during the match? Unbelieveable!!

Forget it mate. Some of them could barely walk by the end of the match. Come to think of it, some of them could barely walk at the beginning  ;D
Being as most games seem to be at walking pace, I don't think crawling pace is going to be entertaining. And I dread to think what the hissy fits would be like.

On the talent point, interesting to see the names in the England under 2's and 20's sides this weekend, especially given the amount of injuries in the senior sides and promotions of youngsters (Mainoo, Gordon, Branthwaite).

Harvey Elliot got 2 goals, a regular now for Liverpool and another in the James Maddison mould, the exciting 18 year old Archie Gray also managed an assist, someone to rival Kobee Mainoo at the heart of England's future midfield. Rico Lewis and Nonr Madurke other stand out names in the starting line up, Dortkubds Bynoe-Gittens and Bournemouth's Alex Scott getting minutes from the bench, while Liverpool regular Jarrell Quansah didn't even get off the bench.

England under 20's featured Newcastle pair Lewis Hall and Lewis Miley - in another era they would have been with the under 21's , alongside Liverpool's Bobby Clark, Ireogbunam and our Tom Fellows.

There is so much depth coming through now, there really is very little excuse not to challenge for honours over the next ten years.
I’d pay good money to watch the under 2’s. Do they play on a regular sized pitch? :D

Fellows assisted England under 20s first 2 goals in a 5-1 win over Poland. Assisted our ex academy player Iroegbunam for the first.
Was he stretchered off?

Quite possibly the most knock-kneed professional football player I can remember seeing.
I did notice that. Good chance he's never been nutmegged.

They did manage to draw with Southampton and beat Swansea so they're not on the beach yet and winning seems to matter to them. and they might be playing with freedom.
Be interesting to see how Fellows gets on against Pring who is highly rated as a LB.  The gallery of training on the O.S. showed a photo with CC having a one to one with Ajayi so he might start.
The great unknown. A club that has nothing to gain or lose,

Great Patel's first thing to worry with apart from the debt which he knew about is this. Great impression, surely Wolves should also be investigated baring in mind I believe most of there fans were given a Police escort to the ground and forced onto coaches and Trams and given Tickets outside the away end. Even if one of ours sold them tickets, how did WMP and Wolves not know there was some Wolves fans in the Halfords Lane
I think we all have different opinions as to what happened that day. Away fans in wrong areas of the ground. Objects being thrown. Over reaction by home supporters. Poor policing and stewardship. Media going over the top. And many other things.  All the ingredients make it difficult where to point the finger of blame. I'd settle for an empty stadium in our next FA Cup home game. It was a very sad day in our clubs history. May I add, I don't think our new owners will think any less of their new purchase.

whats a rocket that doesn't go up?  A torpedo ? I'm going to have to think about this one !! :-[
I know it rained quite a lot before and during the game, but a torpedo wouldn't have gotten far. I think missile would be more apt. 😉

I know it’s a silly thought but as CC comes from Valencia in south west Spain and Pipa from close to Barcelona in the Catalan area and given the animosity between the Castilian speakers and those of Catalan whether that may be part of the reason Pipa doesn’t feature as much. Who knows.
Valencia is situated on the East coast, and the regional language is Valencian.

Can't help but believe I played a small part in the turnaround of the clubs' fortunes. It's 24 years and 3 months since I packed my belongings into my trusty Sierra Sapphire and headed to Spain.😊

The Championship is relentless and I would guess most of our regular starters are carrying some form of niggle and Yokuslu will be no exception. At 30 he is post peak as are a lot of the players around him, if our schedule was a game a week I guess there would be less need to manage his minutes. The choice for Corberan is two 70's or push for two 90's and risk muscle damage and no Yokuslu for weeks.
May I add what seems like quite an intensive training regime into the mix.
