Foster Nyom Dawson Evans Gibbs Barry Krychowiak Phillips Morrison McClean Rodriguez Subs Myhill, Hegazi, Brunt, Livermore, Chadli, Robson Kanu, Burke
I am indeed serious time to go with what we know until Gibbs is assimilated. Maybe Rodriguez for McClean.Your team doesn't include our best player and does include Chadli (who won't be picked) also disappointed you haven't stuck by your mate HRK.
Nyom will be dropped for his mistake, despite playing very well in the previous 3 games in his natural position. Dawson will revert to first choice RB, despite offering nothing going forward. Gibbs may come in if he's had enough shredded wheat this week to "bulk up" sufficiently. If not, may see Brunt or Evans at LB.Can't see him dropping any of Livermore, Greg or Barry anytime soon.Burke will be dismissed as "not ready" due to one failed backheel. So, despite a promising looking window, we probably end up less attacking than before. FosterDawson Hegazi Evans Brunt Livermore Greg BarryPhillips Rodrigues RondonI'd go: FosterNyom Dawson Evans Gibbs Greg BarryBurke Phillips Rodrigues RondonThink that offers plenty of defensive cover, but adds pace going forward. Would also give Rondon a bit of support to see if he can get back to anything like his best.
Think Burke will be on the bench unless his hamstring is still tight after coming off for the U23's last night.
Think the bench is the best he can hope for even if fully fit, Hull.I hope I'm wrong, but Pulis' calling him out for one silly mistake, which didn't cost us a goal, despite so many other inept performances, suggests he doesn't fancy him much at this stage.
Someone on here suggested Rondon was at fault for the Stoke goal. So TP tempering the expectations around Burke isn't particularly far fetched.
Sets up with three defensive midfielders across the middle , a tactic I have personally never seen any manager employee.Let in three goals and then calls out one of the three 'attacking' players in his set up for trying to attack. Couldn't make it up. Doubt we will see Burke starting in this game.
Even if he was fit he would be starting on the bench and rightly so. Phillips and McClean are more experienced at this level. Burke is a good option off the bench but needs to work on getting his head up rather than just blindly running and only looking up before he is about to cross. Very much a work in progress.Although pulis did criticise Burke he also praised him " But he's a young lad & he'll learn. I like his enthusiasm and willingness to run down the side of the pitch and he can score goals. He's a young lad who will be very promising for us"doesn't sound like he's in the doghouse to me.http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/oliver-burke-what-impressed-tony-13600333
