Yes we shall see. I still wouldn't be too surprised to see one round of championship games staggered across the week to fill the festive viewing gap.

I agree. My intention was to support your point by show that  that the championship will be on during that week. It would make sense to have games spread.

Six police cars arrived at his home in the early hours of the morning to arrest him, apparently

Nottingham Forest making a fair stab at things if they get all the deals they are in for over the line. Without putting the club's long term future at risk as well. If they come down will be a EFL force.

Crazy how much a difference the leadership makes. Lais always been a clown but I underestimated by how much

PL kicks off in 27 minutes time.

Palace vs Arsenal first up. Quite looking forward to it considering i'm not invested.

SJ on bench for Palace,  Ferguson fit but not in squad.  Arsenal starting Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus.

Got a feeling Fulham might be ok this year. Only spent 30m or so but they were only 2 or 3 players away from being ok in the PL

They retained a good core when they came down, think they need to strengthen though in certain areas. Tosin has been brilliant, I said when he was with us that he’s quality, and yet we were selecting Bartley over him, madness

Just talking about Tosin on WBA Twitter. Mainly played RB here. What a waste. Bargain for Fulham though I think they only paid 1m for him.

Big point for Liverpool.

I know people will say it’s a long season, but Liverpool lost twice last season and didn’t win the league, they only lost once a few seasons prior and didn’t. Man City typically drop so few points that any loss is massive, no matter when it occurs.

To be fair Tosin had some stinkers for us that season
Ipswich at home I remember one particular bad game
Leeds away too
Done really well since but never rated him that highly then

Didn't he get played out of position at Leeds?

Gerrard is bang under pressure if he doesn’t get off to a good start, that’s a strong squad at the Seals now.

Nice to see them both lose today. I fear the Wolves could seriously struggle this season, had a stinker of an end to last season and not really strengthened. Sadly the Villa have probably spent enough of a fortune to be fine this season and will spunk another fortune in January if not

Wolves massively overperformed statistically last seasons, things like expected goals aren't the be all and end all but the kind of overperformance Wolves had wasn't sustainable and eventually showed, they'll be struggling this season without serious transfer activity at the end of the window.

Villa will be fine for survival, there's way more than enough talent to get to 38 points. Though with the amount of resources they've had ploughed since promotion anything other than top half would have to be looked at as a serious underperformance.
