Chelski could be in trouble now if sanctions really kick off
Have I missed something? What sanctions?

He’s been a breath of fresh air.

Leeds have been great to watch for the last few years - including their recent hammerings.

Done the rounds of the Red Bull teams and was the guy brought in to replace current Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann at Leipzig.

Good record in Austria and America, not so much in Germany.

Didn't realise how tight the bottom of the prem league was.  Couple of lucky/unlucky bounces and it becomes interesting very quickly.

“I am afraid the Government must act quickly to stop Roman Abramovich from selling Chelsea, until he can prove his wealth comes from legitimate sources and is not linked to Putin.

We should do everything to prevent him selling off his UK”

First there are calls for him to have the club taken off him. Now that he has put them up for sale there are calls for it to stop? He can't possibly win here.

That’s the idea of sanctions . If as they should have done his assets had been frozen pretty much immediately he would not have been able to sell the club. Sanctions are meant to hurt not to offer an alternative

RA’s wording is interesting . He says proceeds from the sale will go to victims of the war , he doesn’t say they will go to Ukraine or Ukrainians . By the wording any amount of the money could go to the families of Russians and from there the money will go back into the Russian economy .

Everton lsing 5-0 at Spurs with 56 mins gone.

They look more mentally defeated than our lot. Could be in big trouble.

similar to us, but their fans never took to Rafa at all and created an incredibly poisonous atmosphere. Players are in a similar mindset (even with a manager change) and will probably need the fans to get them out of it.

Their position certanly doesn't reflect their quality/ability. A season they will want to forget quickly if they escape relegation this season.
