Fulham are well in this fight after that.

would be great if we could make it a 4 way fight, but cannot see it

Well, if we can beat Everton then it's very much in our hands with Newcastle being the next game, i didn't see it being that close just 2 weeks ago.

These next 2 games are MASSIVE!

Game comes 72 hours later for Everton.  No reason we don't win.

I really hope i'm wrong but i think the gulf in quality will be exposed by everton, a few ref decisions and injuries to everton players would be very handy.

Didn’t realise how much of break we will have compared to Everton, could make a big difference! We seem to of been a lot fitter recently

Almiron and San Maximin out until April for Newcastle, missing our game this weekend.

Means for the second Newcastle game in a row we get to play against a severely weakend team. Let's hope we take advantage.

The Newcastle game was going to be grim anyway shorn of even the limited creativity offered by Almiron and San Maximin it might be one of the most desperate of all games in Premier League history.

Great news, their front three out for the majority of the season. Lose against us and there in the relegation fight without alot of fire power.

They've still got Joelinton (don't laugh, he's more effective on the left of a three), Andy Carroll and Dwight Gayle to call on. The good news is they've also got injury doubts defensively. COYB.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

More effective? Well, in so much as he's not in the way as much out there, I suppose.

I'm expecting a shocking game of football to be honest. Bruce took 18 months to figure out how to play Wilson, ASM, Almiron and A.N.Other, can't imagine he's got a plan B scribbled on the back of a crisp packet.

What we should] do is play
Dubravka
Murphy Lascelles Clark Dummet
Hayden Shelvey
Ritchie, Willock, Fraser
Gayle

What Bruce will play is

Dubravka
Hayden Lascelles Clark
Ritchie Hendrick Willock Shelvey Lewis
Fraser
Joelinton

That way, we're immobile in the centre, exposed on the flanks, disjointed at the back and toothless up front.

Jesus, I hate this fat quivering sentient sack of Man Utd.

No. I meant he was genuinely better on the left of a front three at previous clubs. In truth I'd never really looked into his past or checked on previous form. It was a snippet I picked up from the radio which stuck in my head and lazily accepted. Having looked into his previous I'm happy to concede that whoever said it has probably come out with loads of other grollocks too.

Much needed. Think they've been missing Barnes.
