He wasnt great but he was better than he ever was for us funnily enough  :o

In fairness, his run/pass for their penalty was excellent. I've never seen him pass like that with us, it was a brilliant through ball.

After that however, he was completely invisible. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

I agree, he now has a manager that wants to utilise his strengths in a system that accommodates him

Additionally, he played the full 90 mins, which must help with his confidence

David Moys described Everton as "The People's Club' when he was manager and their marketing department took it from there!

We should have taken advantage of “We know who we are”

Problem being it was we know what we are, then we got relegated and Wo1ve5 went up. So it made no sense.

There are some strange slogans being plastered in the stadiums at the moment. At Villa Park it says "Part of the Pride"??  and at Goodison a couple of banners state "The People's Club"? What does that mean??  ::)

Quietly stunned if you've never heard reference to either as such.

I was aware of the People's Club one, but thought it was about time to put it under scrutiny  ;D. Assuming the Pride one was just some needless arrogance.

1-3 to Man City, who barely threatened the Dingles in the second half.

I'm quietly confident we can both agree there will be at least a certain element of arrogance tinged by anything Aston Villa  ;) .

Leicester City have made a £30m+ bid for #Burnley centre-half James Tarkowski. Understand Tarkowski is interested in a move to the King Power

Would Tarkowski to foxes make Johnny Evans surplus to requirements?

QPR's director of football Les Ferdinand said that the impact of taking a knee "has been diluted", adding it "has reached a point of 'good PR' but little more than that. The message has been lost."

Let’s hope this fizzles out quickly now.

Brighton look a really good side and deserved a point if not more today. No danger they’ll be relegated for me.

Potters first season didn’t always go his way but he did improve their league position and he’s quietly doing a very good job I think. If there’s one British manager who looks like he might be a fit in style and type for a top four/six club eventually I think it’s him.

Surely if the ref has blown for full time then it’s game over?

Be interesting to have seen if Brighton would have got the same decision if it happened the other end of the pitch.

Also interesting to see if anyone happens from the FA for the Brighton players and staff surrounding the referee. My guess is nothing.

It's one rule for the elite, another rule for the rest of the teams.

Matic elbowed a Brighton player in the face in the first half and got a yellow. Far more dangerous and aggressive than Gibbs last week. The comentators say nothing as per and it quickly gets forgotten about.

Never a pen and the ref reviewed it himself. No deliberate motion there for me at all.

The Big 6 are the paymaster generals mate, no-one bites the hand that feeds, especially referees. Corruption in plain sight.
