The new West Ham badge is shocking.

As a product/brand designer I can only agree. Horrible generic clip art garbage. It's comic sans typeface away from making me throw up.

I prefer the concept of Friday night football to Monday night.

Yeah me to, good decent boozy start to the evening then off out afterwards.

This pre match stuff has been absolutely nauseating. Kamara looks like he's high as a kite. Pogba, Pogba, Pogba. I'm sick of hearing his name already.

I never watch any of the prematch waffle, it's always tedious and dull. I'll stick it on 5 mins before kick off.

Whenever football is on TV on whatever channel, I put it on just before kick off, then switch channels during half time, and turn over as soon as the final whistle goes.
I prefer to record MOTD and watch on Sunday then I can fast forward through the cr@p they talk

Haha, it's not great but I never liked their original badge anyway. Speaking of badges though, I think the new Man City one is class.

Given playing for Stoke, if City click they could easily get 5 or 6 today.

I hope Olsson, in particular, is watching the Stoke v Man City game. The ref gave a penalty against Shawcross for holding in the box, an offence players got away last season. Having said that Stoke should also have had a stonewall penalty when Joe Allen was bundled over in the box. The interpretation of the rule appears to have changed but the inconsistency of refs clearly hasn't

Thought the City penalty was soft but that Stoke one is a joke.

Mike Dean has given another penalty for holding in the second half - this time against Man City. Stoke score to make it 1-2

We could realistically give away 3 or 4 penalties a game with Dawson McAuley and Olsson if this rule is applied evenly.

Hull win again, very concerning for Swansea having let 2 of their best 3 players go. Borja out for around a month too. Liverpool lose 2-0 at Turf Moor with 80% possession a record for a losing side since 2003/04. While Costa should have been sent off again at Watford and scores another late winner for Chelsea.

Shaping up to be a good season.

Going to be a very tough game next week against Boro by the looks of things. Not that any game is easy in the Premiership.

They look a very decent outfit so far.

Middlesbrough winning 2-0. Superb team goal for the second. They look a very good, well organised outfit who can hurt sides going forward.

Moyes has a big job at Sunderland.

Absolutely sickening to see West Ham playing at the Olympic stadium and getting an attendance of nearly 57,000 to boot.  >:(

Agreed. Middlesbrough have made some good signings.  Getting Negredo was a masterstroke.  Why can't we attract quakity like this?

Janmaat sold to Watford.
http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/10550003/watford-have-signed-defender-daryl-janmaat-from-newcastle-for-an-undisclosed-fee

Another defender to cross off our list (if we have one).

Personally think we have missed a trick with this lad...has impressed me at times
