Would this aversion have its roots going back to 1967?

Mine goes back to 1982 when they beat us in the FA Cup semi and Clive Allen scored that fluky, lucky goal when Ally Rob's clearance hit him on the leg.

I was 8 at the time and totally devastated.

Pete O'Rourke ‏@SportsPeteO
West Ham fined £71,000 for fielding Diafra Sakho in the FA Cup win over Bristol City despite telling Senegal the striker was unfit.

A lenient sentence, west ham always enjoys special care from FA.

When given the Olympic Stadium it should have been under the proviso that their existing ground was knocked down and cleared at their expense and then the land given back to the taxpayer to be sold off for redevelopment and the money back into the country.

Im disgusted by the whole thing if I'm honest.

Not for me - me dad wasn't even born then  :D

Then you both were unfortunate to miss one of our crowning glories.

FA Cup Final 1968 - Everton 0-1 West Bromwich Albion  (AET) GS J. Astle  :D

Let's hope the Lads can repeat that feat this year for us all, it's agreat feeling.  ;D

After the 1967 League Cup Final, I remember Albion Fans Singing "we want Rodney  with a rope around his neck" second and third verse the same as th first at the end of the game.  >:(

Villa seem to lose every bloody week, yet they never fall into the relegation zone.

They really are the cockroaches of football.
