One of the best games I have seen Cazorla play.

Likewise, Reid never touched him. Even so, he was very good for Arsenal yesterday

Greedy teams?? Bit harsh on Arsenal. Only top team who imo have done it the right way. Cazorlas' diving aside I think we would all be happy to watch our team play that style of football. They don't , in the main pay high fees for average players and although they have very rich people on the board they don't spend personal money to keep the club going. Remember Southampton are funded by a sugar daddys money ( albeit he is now dead ) like most teams in the PL. Only Burnley, us and a  couple of others aren't and this is the reason regardless of FFP ( which isn't fair to teams like us ) why we will never achieve what we did in the late 70's

They could have been 3-0 up at half time if they had a striker

They look scared to shoot, no one wants to take responsibility and have a go at goal. Aluko had at least 2 chances to shoot but looked around for someone to pass to and ended up losing possession. very poor considering he's supposed to be a forward.

By the time we play Tottenham at home on Saturday, 31st Jan, I make it that we will have played one game:-

1) B'Ham City FA Cup, Sat 23rd Jan,away

and Tottenham will have played 3:-

1) Shef Wed, 1st Leg League Cup Semi, Wed, 21st Jan, Home,
2) Leicester City, 4th Round FA Cup, Sat, 23rd Jan, Home
3) Shef Wed, 2nd Leg League Cup Semi, Wed, 28th Jan, Away

I'm not sure of FA Cup replay dates and the potential impact on both teams, but I really do hope that we get some sort of advantage out of their fixture congestion when we meet on 31st

Does anyone know why Spurs fans seem to hate Adebayor?

Has he said/done something?

Not too sure. They made him captain last night for some strange reason. That didn't go down well

Ready this morning that all 20 premier league teams are in the top 40 for review in the world according to top accounting form Deloitte.

Crazy to think that is. We are above such teams like Porto,  Celtic, Lazio and many more. With the tv money to go past 7 billion in 2016 pretty much all prem teams will be in the top 30. This is why it's so important to stay in the PL.
Ohhhhh Albion we love you!

Should definitely work in our favour that, although they will probably rest a few at Bramall Lane for their big game with us  ::)

I think Spurs will have to take a strong team to Bramall Lane, the tie is far from over, and Spurs will not want to miss out on going to Wembley, expecially at the expense of a league 1 team.

I can see Pochettino taking a pretty full strength team with him, hopefully it goes to extra time.

Given how tight the game was even at WHL, I don't think Pochettino will risk a weakened side. Sheffield United weren't afraid to attack, and with a better final ball could have hurt Spurs.

Agreed. They are looking very average these days.

Do you remember him telling Bill Kenwright that he would get Everton Champions League football which is why he was hired?

I remember that too. He looked very forlorn last Monday week.

Everton have as much chance of the Champions League as the Albion at the moment..........doubt he will be there next season, and perhaps Lukaku will be available ????

Was alright last year because he could play the attacking game he wanted knowing he had a solid defensive unit from Moyes' time in charge, while Barry was playing much better than he currently is. Defence is another year older, Stones has been injured and Barry's legs look like they've gone.

IMO they have missed Sylvain distin more than anyone would care to admit, leader of the defence, gave Baines the security to bomb on, its no coincidence that baines and midfield are less confident when Distin is out.
