Swansea don't really matter to us anyway. What matters is what the teams below us are doing. It's a decent day.

Its a great day if cardiff ends 1-1. Cardiff and fulham are all that matters

Villa and Swansea are safe now in my opinion.

Much needed win that for Swansea.

Stoke missed an absolute sitter at the end - and then hit the bar about 30 seconds later.

Gotta give it to Pulis - 5 wins in a row for Palace!

Great day, like i said all that matters is sunderland, cardiff and fulham. Even norwich dont matter to a certain extent. If those 3 team are losing or drawing then were safe.

If Liverpool and Chelsea do their jobs then 36 points is basically the maximum for survival now, so one win.

Cardiff looked desperately poor to me, hanging on for their lives after their correctly disallowed goal. Barely attacked after that and Stoke who looked very good really should have scored with that Assaidi chance, good save but a very weak finish. They do have Newcastle and Sundeland though so its not entirely out the question they'll win the next 2, particularly as Newcastle seem completely gone for the season, but Chelsea should beat them on the last day.

When is it ever that simple though?!

Am I right in thinking 2 wins from our last 5 will make us safe, or six points?

Decent results for us today. Pullis doing a great job at palace, would have had him at Hawthorns.

Newcastle must be the easiest fixture on the card at the moment as they have just lost interest completely.

Need Chelsea and Liverpool to be professional now and pick up expected wins and it would have almost been the best weekend we could have hoped for without playing.

Even so, next week's West ham game is a massive one for Albion - that's the one I think we have the best chance of maximum points from.

We would be 6pts clear of the relegation zone with cardiff and fulham both only having 2 games (6pts) left. This is after next weekends games of course and if we win and they both lose. Our goal difference is far superior so it would be impossible for them to catch us.

I said this before Christmas, we would be safe by now if we had Pulis I reckon. If Liverpool win the league Brendan Rogers will get manager of the year, if not I think Pulis should get it for the way he's turned Palace round, they were dead and buried till he took over.

Anyway, good results for us today, our position looks a little bit stronger than this morning :)

I will not rest easy until we have four more points in the bag. There's not much chance of picking any up on Monday but the West Ham game is MASSIVE.

Gutsy performance from Sunderland, but you would hope that Chelsea will have too much for them as they tire.  :-\

Its mad to think that sunderland could have 2 points from city and chelsea away but the results wouldnt be considered good at this stage of the season.

I feel slightly sick after that result. I hope and pray it doesn't come down to Sunderland & Stoke.

Write the bottom team off at your peril, we should know that better than anybody!
