Yep but i expected that. Isn't the rule that if it's shown on UK TV it won't be on WBA TV regardless?

I've got Sky anyway so no biggie for me but not great for those of you abroad

I've been able to access most of the TV games so far this season, and according to the website, this one should too  :(

Anybody else getting the 'we're sorry, this content is only available in certain countries' message on the WBA TV stream?

Recently moved to the US, but according to the website the game is available for all countries outside the UK?

Whats happened to WBA radio commentary, no 2nd half at all, this happens too often, any others suffering?

Same here. Must be 2-3 times that’s happened this season.

Slightly off topic but the Halfords Lane is embarrassing. It needs bringing into the 21st century.

The only part of the ground which lets the Hawthorns down.

Tend to agree it’s better to have a fuller smaller stadium than a big empty one, but I think we should at least be aiming to get back to 28-29k. Possibly 30k if we increased hospitality seating capacity and/ or up the away allocation.

I’m not sure how much more the club can do with the prices as low (comparatively to other clubs) as they are. Perhaps engagement with the local community could be improved but you can’t just give away tickets. Thats not fair on those who pay.

The whole Lai charade has been like watching a car crash in super slow motion. A group of half wit chancers, with zero business nouse or dignity, haplessly trying to salvage our hard earned respectability that took a generation for us to earn back. Ever since they stepped through the doors it's been slipping from their grasp and now things are coming to a head.

The reason we were (financially) as well run as we were under Peace was because he was a hard nosed, prudent businessman who was over every single detail. Football and non-football...to a tee.

If this gamble doesn't pay off, and none of us have seen any evidence to suggest otherwise based on the track record of our current ownership, it will be end of WBA as we currently see it - a top tier to second tier promotion chasing club.

And without any Gov intervention or legislation, we will just become another name added to the ever growing long list of similarly screwed over clubs.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Grady Diangana
« on: November 12, 2022, 06:28:48 PM »
Hate to be the one to complain about Grady, I love the guy as much as the next fan, but he cannot keep missing some of the chances he’s been getting and expect a free pass.

The misses against QPR and today against Stoke are so poor.

Is Grady a luxury? Yes he offers skill, excitement and one of those players you find yourself willing to succeed, but he can’t go on missing these chances.

Only had a couple saves to make today but thought his distribution was lot better. Seems CC has told the team to play it short from GK’s which helps create a bit more space when playing it out from the back.

A great end to this nightmare of a half season. We look so much more solid at the back and our passing and movement has come on leaps and bounds since CC has come in.

The atmosphere has completely shifted. What a relief. I really thought we were dead a buried after the Sheff Utd game but just goes to show how much a good coach CC really is and finally feels like the players are buying into it.

With Dike, Ajayi back after the WC, and an opportunity to add quality in Jan, a push for the play offs wouldn’t be out the question!

Very good first half. We keep getting better and better. Incredible turnaround. Bartley could of had a hat trick. Who would of thought we’d be saying that a couple weeks ago!

Imperative we get the second to kill the game off. Gayle is certain to get a chance at some point!

The manner of that defeat could be season defining. Just when we thought we couldn’t sink any lower it gets worse and worse.

To think we were in the playoffs under Val last time we were at Millwall and now heading for the bottom of the league just goes to show how much of a cliff we’ve called off.

Another manager isn’t going to fix this, we’d need to clear out the usual suspects and buy half a new team which will clearly never going to happen under Lai. We are screwed.

Wasn’t pretty at times today but great to see a bit of graft and passion for the first time in a long time.

How Palmer and TGH weren’t starting earlier this season is beyond me and seemingly everyone else apart from Bruce!

Just when you thought the management couldn’t stoop to another level of incompetence they bottle the most obvious decision that needed to be made.

Ron Gourlay would be wise to stay well away from the Hawthorns this Saturday. It won’t be pretty.

The good times will never return until this imposter of an owner/ controlling shareholder/ whatever he is has gone. And the depressing thing is the further we sink, the lesser chance that’s going to happen.

The ironic thing is if this type of incompetence would ever happen to a Chinese business, the authorities would of probably seized it.

The only person who could undo this would be JP buying us back but next to zero chance of it ever happening.

What a shambles we are. From back to front in the team and top to bottom of our so called ‘management’.

As much as Bruce needs to go, I doubt it’ll change anything. We are and will continue to be in terminal decline until Lai is gone.

Any CEO can talk a good game. Actually doing it will be something else. I'm just sceptical he'll even get the time or resources to have a proper go. Lai has already managed to see off Williams, Goodman, Dowling, Li Piyue and Ken during his reign. Pretty sure it will be the same for Gourlay the moment we reach a new low.
